Just returned from a two night break purchased via travelzoo. Had a wonderful stay. Arrived a little early but booked in by lovely friendly staff and was upgraded to a four poster room overlooking the river. We were celebrating so this made our stay more memorable the room was stunning and went to sleep with the sound of rippling water!...

Had a great stay here, the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi are lovely! The setting of the hotel is beautiful and we were lucky enough to have great weather where we could enjoy a drink outside by the river. The staff here are all really friendly especially the bar staff and waiters/waitresses we had dinner in the dolly blue...

We stayed for one night, 10 May. The hotel has transformed an old mill into a luxury property. The room and bathroom were spacious and well equipped. We loved the time we spent in the spa and later the food and service in the restaurant were excellent, including breakfast the next day. Recommended!

I'm not going to spend ages waxing lyrical. Everything about the Hotel was brilliant and good value, room, bathroom, restaurant, leisure facilities, position and staff. Recommend. Lift wasnt working when we stayed but nothing like a bit more exercise.

We booked a 1 night spa package at this hotel. The facilities were excellent and the staff friendly. The leisure club is well appointed and adapted to the less able bodied. The pool area had about 12 loungers, most positioned for views over the river and attracting the warmth of the south facing conservatory. Spa users also have access to...

We took advantage of a special mid-week offer through TravelZoo to stay for two nights with a first class dinner included for the first evening. What a bargain it proved to be! The hotel with extensive leisure facilities is well located near the southernmost tip of Lake Windermere. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated and exceptionally well resourced with a...
