Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant. What more can I say? Fantastic views, superb food, staff could not be more helpful. A very relaxing place. Rooms very spacious with en-suite. A lovely chilled out weekend with my sister. We will definitely return.

Arrived with friends late afternoon and was warmly greeted by staff who showed us to our rooms. The suite we stayed in was spacious, spotless and offered a great lakeside view. The bed was very comfy and provided a superb night's rest. The shower and bath had simple controls with nice modern fittings. The spa facilities were excellent. There was...

Couldn't have wished for a more relaxing and enjoyable overnight stay. Staff were courteous, extremely helpful and always on hand any time of the day. The facilities could not be faulted, especially the pool and spa which exceeded expectations, comparative to other hotels. The views from the hotel speak for themselves and are truly breathtaking, with the secluded location on...

A lovely afternoon tea. Very surprised to be served a small bowl of delicious mushroom soup with it, it really was delicious. Plenty of little sandwiches and lots and lots of cakes! All beautifully presented and well filled. A huge selection of teas, all very well explained to us. Very friendly and helpful staff. Was a beautiful day and we...

We had a 2 day break with our two children. Our room was fabulous, really big with comfortable bunk beds. The staff were really helpful and the restaurants served delicious food. It's location is very remote but there's a boat and a steam train that's just outside the hotel. My only negative comment is that I found it slightly over...

This hotel has so much potential but we were let down by a number of things. Firstly, the gentleman who checked us in was not friendly or welcoming and made us feel rushed. He swiftly took us to our room, shut the door and I could not believe how poor the standard of the room was for what we paid....

Just back from a 4 night stay for our annual anniversary holiday; 2 adults 3 children. Standards still very high; staff very friendly and excellent with the children. Room very good (206 and 207 form a connecting suite so brilliant with the children ie them in one room, us in the other). Breakfast excellent and enjoyable meals in the Brasserie...

We stayed for 1 night and the location was great for a family as we were next to the aquarium, steam train and boat rides. The hotel is a little dated but in a nice way, lovely staff, the only complaint I have is the prices were too high for food and drink. Overall we had a lovely break but...

Had a wonderful long weekend with my wife. The ambience was wonderful, the staff was outstanding and the food was second to none. The decor sweeps from 19th century coaching inn to modern day dining. We highly recommend this hotel.
