Hazel is an amazing host in this idyllic Guest House in the quiet of the west lakes. Beautiful large room overlooking mountains. Very plush and immaculate. We were totally spoilt. Lovely cottage with oak beams stylishly decorated. A local family who can give great advice about the best places to visit too. Delicious breakfasts and evening meals, and there's even...

New House Farm is the place where dreams come true. Thanks to Hazel and her team my new husband and I had the wedding of our dreams. From our first meeting with Hazel in Aug 2015 to our Wedding on the 10th Dec 2016 Hazel has been amazing. The venue is stunning! We were able to decorate the barn exactly...

Our daughter Amy and now husband Lee have just had there wedding at New House Farm. Everything from our first visit to the actual day was just fabulous. The owner Hazel is the most fantastic host. She had such an infectious enthusiasm for everything. She makes the whole affair glide so smoothly. We stayed at the farm house for a...

Fantastic venue. Put some thought and time into planning everything that you want and the place will deliver. Hazel is an excellent host. The B&B accommodation is first class. Use of the coffee shop as a mid-event breakout is great. A huge log fire makes it very welcoming.

I have been travelling to the Cockermouth area for nearly 20 years, and every time I drove past this place on the road to Buttermere the sign always said tea room closed. It became a standing joke with my friends. This year it actually said open, so I braked hard and turned in on my way back from climbing Whiteside...

We didn't stay at the B&B or have a wedding here but this farmhouse has been done up to levels you don't normally experience in the Lakes.....maybe a touch over the top for a farm house but beautifully and professionally done. Enjoyed a lovely late lunchtime snack......not overpriced given the standard of food and helpings. Would revisit anytime.

Brilliant venue for a super wedding. We stayed over in the cottage and super comfortable duck down pillows and wonderfully decorated rooms. Even had little Cumbrian made soap, nice touch. Breakfast was scrummy. Hot tub was even better, staff were very helpful. Cannot be faulted!
