A good standard with a homely feel was awaiting us when we arrived after our journey from Northamptonshire, a charming room with a good bathroom and a good quality bed. We had managed to get ourselves a good deal for this long weekend inclusive of afternoon tea, dinner, bed & breakfast and we were not disappointed one bit - the...

Excellent experience over the New Year. Room extremely well laid out and spacious (it was not the basic room but a fell side view room which was well worth the extra cost). Bed really comfortable and the staff kept the room spotless. Only slight downside was the noises extract fan in the bathroom. Room 135 was ideal for us as...

The hotel looked stunning with the christmas decorations inside and outside the hotel and the gingerbread house and butter angel were a work of art. Our room was spotless and spacious although it was at he back of the hotel. There was plenty of entertainment...

We stayed here for three nights at the end of November. I think our room had just been refurbished. We had an amazing view over the lake and snow topped hills. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We had a thoroughly relaxing time, enjoying long walks during the day and returning to a long soak in the bath, pre-dinner...

The hotel was expensive for a really small room. When we checked in we were told we could get a bar meal, but when we came down to eat we were told, we could a meal by the pool!?!, room service or a 3 course expensive restaurant meal. My friend only wanted a snack, so I chose after visiting the...

Dear 'kelizabeth78' I'm sorry to hear the hotel was not to your liking. We have a number of different types of rooms available, in general the higher the category the larger the room. We offer bar meal until 5pm, after this the menu is available in the Leisure area or side lounge. The reason other people came in and got...
