Great location, venue, service and price. What more can one say. Stayed for 3 nights with colleagues and was very impressed from start to finish. Amazing architecture and the room was super. Evening meal and breakfast first class too. No complaints and would recommend.

When arrived to our room was pleasantly surprised, had a large room, however we had to phone reception as there was no toilet roll. Shortly after we discovered the toilet did not flush. This was reported to reception and a young man came to have a look, disappeared and returned with some sellotape to fix it until it could be...

Great spacious room with lots of space for your belongings. The room has a discreet safe tucked away in a cupboard. Well stocked drinks tray with biscuits and cadburys hot chocolate for when tea and coffee just aren't enough! Massive fluffy towels(plenty of them) in a spacious bathroom which also has complimentary toiletries. Good shower over the bath. Massive bar/restaurant...

Stayed here for 1 night with my partner using a deal. This hotel is so beautiful from the outside with a tudor decor. Room was good size with tea coffee hairdryer etc everything we needed. Breakfast included in the price too and was a good choice of items...cereals, yoghurts, full English, toast, fruit platter. Would definitely stay again.

When we arrived at the hotel in the early evening it was all lit up with lights in the trees which looked stunning. We were in room 26 on the first floor, which had great views over the countryside. We found it to be spacious and clean. The bed was comfy but the pillows were hard. There were the expected...

We thought this beautiful old place would be a nice place for a late lunch. When we went in it was pretty empty, and lunch was over, but we were offered a short sandwich list. We ordered ham and tomato on brown bread worth chips. It was nice enough, but we were expecting bit more, well gourmet. The ham was...

The hotel was spacious and quite tidy. The room was large but in need of a bit of TLC. The meal in the evening was good however the breakfast was disappointing with very cheap ingredients. There was not enough staff you always seemed to be waiting to be served. The receptionist during checkout was extremely rude and put a big...

We've just returned from an overnight stay at the Wild Boar, using a groupon voucher for bed, breakfast and evening meal, which we also upgraded to a suite with four poster bed at an additional cost. We were disappointed to find the room wasn't as ready as we would have liked (windowsills needed cleaning) but we notified reception of this...
