I went with two friends for lunch one Saturday to this place and was pleasantly surprized when the bill came to see, with drinks, the bill was under £60. I had the pie of the day which was beef and ale pie. Huge chunks of beef in the pie in a ceramic bowl with puff pastry top, chips and broccoli....

Called in on off chance for afternoon tea, was told had to book in advance. Looked round whilst waiting. Shabby and dated look crying out for a refurbishment. Lovely views and location but stuck in a time warp of 20 years, no luxury or style, overall impression was drab and dull, didn't want to have a drink, was very disappointed.

My daughter booked for afternoon tea for Mother's Day. Absolutely gorgeous food. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were great nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend it. The custard tarts were the best we've ever had! A really lovely experience.

What a fantastic day/evening we had at our friends daughter's wedding. The staff couldn't do enough for us, very attentive, professional & friendly. Beautiful food and surroundings. Would not hesitate to have a gathering here.

Willington Hall is blessed with its superb idyllic location in the heart of rural Cheshire, perfect bolt hole to escape the rat race for a few days to recharge the 'hard drive' and switch off. In that context Willington Hall succeeds. It also leads the way with its friendly and accommodating staff - no indifference or haughtiness here, you get...

Willington Hall Hotel bills its rooms as stylishly furnished and gives the impression its a bit of a luxury destination. There was nothing particularly wrong with the room we had but it was tired and in need of redecoration, and although I wouldn't describe it as dirty there was dust on the window sills. The bathroom had not been modernised...

As you walk down the drive you a treated to a pleasant garden abundant with daffodils (March). The building is impressive inside and out, being old time stately grandeur. The staff are friendly and welcoming, trying their best to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Food is excellent and reasonably priced, breakfast was superb. We were on the local...

This is a really lovely building and hotel that has plenty of history but it is very obvious that it needs investment. My wife and I stayed for two nights in room 6. The room was large enough but looking into other rooms on leaving it was one of the smaller ones with not such a good view as the...
