We needed an overnight stop to break our journey - the Windmill offered so much more. We stayed in room 5 which was spacious and immaculate. The menu offered great choice at good prices. The food good and fresh, and my Husband rated the beer. Best of all were the staff, friendly and helpful, great service with a smile. We...

Con - Room 5 EXTREMELY HOY even with window wide open and provided fan on full all night (day was not a sunny day). Pros - Staff friendly, relaxed and welcoming.Food quality is good but, I feel, a liitle over-priced; however the Chocolate Pudding is SUPERB, a must have!! Very welcoming Inn serving excellent range and quality of food. We stayed in room 5 which others had posted saying don't stay in that room but we found it to be very spacious and of good standard. It was warm in the room and the view was non existant but was perfect for its intended use. Would recommend.

Visited one Monday...really enjoyed. So much so that I visited again a week later with my children just to have the Haddock Burger and it was an hour drive. Well worth it though. Food, price and service was great

I have to say it wasn't my first choice of venue to meet a supplier, but was pleasantly surprised. Very clean and extremely polite staff make you very welcome on arrival. The food was fast to arrive after ordering and I would recommend to friends and colleagues.

Nice pub, excellent accommodation, pleasant staff. Stopped over during a visit to Oulton Park taking the boys for a Junior Driving Experience which they thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely stay here again, spent afternoon in nearby Knutsford, lovely town with nice little shops. Decided to return to the Windmill for our evening meal and we were not disappointed he food was...

My partner and I stayed here over Easter weekend. The accommodation was fine - it is in a good location, just off the motorway and close to Knutsford. There is plenty of parking and a bar/restaurant if you want to eat on site (although we ate in town). The room was clean and spacious but the pillows were so lumpy,...
