So it's 1.30 am and for the third night running we are being kept awake by noisy guests and no one in charge (at least no one who will answer the phone) to sort it out. There seems to be little encouragement for guests to be quite after 11. It's A pity as the room is lovely and bed comfortable...

We have stayed at vintage inns before so we thought we would give this one a try for a few days - We stayed for 3 nights in room 212 - This room has to be the worst one ever. Located on the top floor and up several steps (no lift) the room was spacious and clean so we were...

Lovely inn, nice rooms and tasty food. The stay included a Continental brekki which consisted of breads, pastries, cereals, fruit and tea or coffee. This was more than adequate for myself, husband and my boys. The lady looking after the brekki was very friendly and a definite asset to the Cheshire Cat. When checking in there was confusion with our...

We received a gift voucher for an overnight stay in an array of hotel/b+bs. After scouring the Internet we happened upon this wonderful lodge.........The Bears Head is a great place to stay, great food, clean, comfortable rooms all in all an excellent nights stay.

Arrived after a very long day with two very tired young children. Went to check in and was told check in was at the end of the bar. Stood and waited for a while with bar staff assuring me that someone would be with me soon. This went on for some time. Member of staff arrived on his iPhone and...

We stayed two nights in the units a. Very short walk from the Inn. Although the unit was small it was warm and clean. The ensuite was also small but to be honest it was OK. What do you need? Plenty of hot water and clean room. We were on the end of the building nearest the Inn car oak...

My wife and have not stayed at an innkeeper lodge before. Well after three nights we will not only visit innkeepers in the future, but will definitively return to the Bears Head. All the staff headed up by the Rachel's were superb. The room, one of the six overlooking the small courtyard were spotless. This inn itself was very busy,which...

Booked in for a Friday night, plenty of parking, the entrance is via the pub you cant access through the side door near the car park until you've got your key fob. Felt secure you go through 2 security locked doors between the pub and the rooms which open with the key fob. Room had a double and a sofa...

Very handy for the M6, this is a quiet and comfortable hotel with a pleasant bar and good and reasonably priced restaurant. There is ample parking and the staff are helpful and friendly. I would highly recommended this hotel for business and leisure travel.
