This is the second time we have stayed here (we visit the pub a lot but occasionally need a break away). Although we love the fact its linked to the pub which serves great food - this is a separate entity. On both occasions we found the beds TERRIBLE! So uncomfortable and soft and misshapen we could not get a...

Hi Charlannerose, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. The lodge itself is positioned in the heart of a rural Cheshire village, however there are plenty of attractions nearby (just not within walking distance). I am sorry that you could hear a dog barking - had you let any member of the team know we would...

Overall this was a real bargain! Easter deal for two nights with cooked breakfast! Stayed here to visit family and Aintree races on Saturday. Room small ish but adequate for what we needed it for. Room 209 has no view other than a brick wall! Also a little noisy on Saturday morning when a delivery must have been received. Luckily...

Hi Rachael, Many thanks for leaving us a review - and I do hope you enjoyed Aintree races! We will have a look at how 209 is arranged for use of the dressing table, and all grouting is being replenished over the next few weeks. So glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to welcoming you...

Let's start with the positives: we knew this place from when we were teenagers in this area so we started from a promising base. But we'd never stayed there. Bar remains very cosy and inviting. Breakfast was great value - I bought the cooked for a reasonable £6.50 and it was one the best I've had for a long time....

Hi Jazza, Thank you for leaving us your review - I can only apologise that you thought check in was a little confusing for the location. Unfortunately the door at the bottom is a security door - so guests have 24 hour access into the hotel; until you are checked in and have a key there is no access through...

Clearly the mould is not a issue for the duty manager considering the amount of comments in relation to the appalling amount of mould on other review sites. I booked through booking.com but the photos were not published - to give you an idea the mould was at least 3 feet up the wall from the base of the shower.

Hi Piri, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review - I do apologise that the shower grouting was not of a high standard. All rooms have been scheduled for a full re grout over the next few months - and I can only apologise for the standards that those particular showers were. If you wish to...

I travel around the country a lot on business and have used all of the usual corporate "budget" hotels and can now easily find my way around a Premier Inn room in the dark, nothing wrong with knowing what to expect when you walk in the door after a hard days travel, but all a bit bland sometimes. Just recently...

Upon arrival the door to the what was later discovered was the check-in desk cum waitresses pick up point for drinks, was closed. Access was through the bar area and with baggage this proved to be annoying to both the customers in the bar and to us. Once in the room, which was freezing, we looked forward to a shower....

Visited here for one night back in April 2016 with a large family group before heading to Manchester. We were shown to our rooms upon arrival and my double room was clean and spacious.
