Amazing old pub/hotel right in the centre of Nantwich. Small but very clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent service. Didn't have breakfast as finished quite early on the Saturday morning. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Ate here on a very busy Saturday night. We were shown to our table and given a few minutes to have a look through the vast drinks menu. They have a great selection of wines, craft beer, cocktails and gins. We ordered our drinks and food with our server, Sally. She was attentive throughout the whole experience. When your food...

Stayed here and although hotel and bar lovely our room was at the front which isn't good on a Saturday night when all you can hear is drunk people walking through the town. The hotel has character and the staff are lovely

This is bang in the middle of Nantwich - full of creaky floorboards, old beams and wonky floors but it's the staff who stood out - always a smile and ready to help. We attended an event in the first floor ballroom - a wonderful space and not what you'd expect to find!

My wife and i decided to try here for lunch while visiting the lovely town of Nantwich today. The building looks fantastic.. its centuries old. The roaring fire inside was very welcome with it being so cold outside. Both our meals were delicious and with the drinks, the bill came to a reasonable £20. Definately recommended 👍

I, my family and guests would like to thank Sue, Rob and the whole team for the wonderful party I celebrated at The Crown on December 11th. Everything ran like clockwork: the staff were really helpful, the food great, a lovely occasion! The ambiance in the room was spot on, the tables just right! Thanks for everything! I will celebrate...

First off I would like to comment on some of the previous reviews. Yes its stairs are wonky and some of the beams are a little low. Its an Elizabeathan property, built in 1585 for gods sake ! Oh and guess what the walls aren't totally straight and they have these weird bits of wood in them !! Its Elizabethan.......

I was expecting more from this hotel. Very dated rooms and poor quality fixtures and fittings in some. Broken blinds, stained carpets. The room service menu displayed dishes incorrectly. Bad/non existent wifi. Absolutely no sound proofing between rooms.
