Just returned from a family christening today and everything about it was fab - children could play in safety - staff excellent and worked very hard - food very good and place tidy and clean - a little gem in middlewich - Rosemarie was a welcoming host - will definitely go here again. Only downside was that the weather went...

Staying here for 3 nights. I must say that the level of service is very impressive. Caroline was very attentive and helpful. Even advising me of a group booking that I might like to avoid. The food is really top quality. Black Sheep on cask very tasty and nice to see a hotel/restaurant with a cask ale, not just lagers....

Stayed here for a business trip. Small hotel. Accommodation was adequate for my needs. Cheap rates. Room had all that you would need for a few nights. Service was perfect when in the common areas such as the bar / restaurant. Food was lovely and very tasty. Would defiantly stay again if business took me back to that area.

We had the pleasure of an overnight stay as guests for a birthday party being held here. The venue is very modern and has plenty of room to relax both inside in the lounge and overspill dining area. There are beautiful garden areas that can be enjoyed in good weather with dining options undercover and plenty of seating areas and...

My wife, daughter and I stayed here for a night whilst visiting family for a birthday. Although we specified when booking we had a baby, we were put in a room overlooking the bar area, the room itself was uncomfortably hot and the noise unbearable. Won't be staying here again.

Rooms are very tired. My room had no bedside tables and see through curtains that let neon glow of Hotel board through (it was turned off at some stage in the night). Rooms next to main road are noisy and need double glazing. Bed linen tired and dated with cheap foam pillows. On plus side food was good and staff...

This visit I stayed in room one with great view of the beer garden at the back of the hotel away from the road. The room was very large with a sofa in as well as a nice size bed with a great view of the beer garden at the rear.

We called in on spec as we hadn't booked lunch over Christmas. Although the restaurant was busy, the waitress found us somewhere comfortable to sit with a drink until a table was free. The first pub we called in, the big lock, just said NO room !. Well I have to say I am so glad we ended up here....

Business trip to Manchester - convenient place to layover. Comfortable rooms with all the usual facilities. Good food for both dinner and breakfast and all at a very reasonable rate. Plenty of car parking and very little to find fault with. Recommended
