We paid extra to stay in the old main part of the hotel, check in was fine and we found our room. Straight away we where very disappointed. I get that the room was old fashioned in keeping with the hotel, but there was old stains all over the carpet, the whole room needed painting and it generally felt dirty....

Arrived for my birthday spa weekend. Could not fault the experience at the spa or the evening meal. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast however was quite another matter. We asked for coffee four times on one occasion I was told the staff were busy and the woman said she was setting tables so could not get any and...

My husband and I had champagne afternoon tea yesterday, I am afraid it was not to the same standard as it had been in January and on previous occasions. The scones were overbaked and crunchy on the outside. The ham sandwich I had had gristle in it which I could not eat, The choux buns were so different in size...

What a very weird place!!! I stayed here recently on business for 3 days and I still couldn't find my way round by the end of our stay. Food - very... Eastern European. Comfy beds though. I wouldn't rush back.

We had a small business function to arrange and got a great value deal here, so weren't expecting 5 star quality. BUT wow, stunning location, gorgeous historical building that has the wow factor and service that was spot on, thankyou from the Equity Release Club, we will be back !

Just returned from an amazing afternoon tea at Crewe Hall. A beautiful setting in the lounge with wooden panelling and ornate fireplace. The stand arrived with a wonderful selection of cakes and sandwiches all washed down with prosecco and Earl Grey tea. Lovely service, attentive but not intrusive. We will be back!

My wife Joan and I were given a voucher for afternoon tea at Crewe Hall by our son for Christmas. We elected to complement this with an overnight stay. The hotel is a mix of old and new with the older parts dating back to the 12th century. The icing on the cake was the afternoon tea which was excellent...

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Crewe Hall. My wife & I are celebrating 25 yrs of marriage & we decided to up-grade our room during our stay. On entering our allocated room we were very impressed, although we are Breakaway members & stay at least 2 or 3 times a year with the Q group,...

I stayed here for one night just before Christmas on the long drive up North from London. Crewe Hall is very close to the M6. Unfortunately when I travelled there, there was an accident on the M6 and it was at a standstill just one junction before the one for Crewe Hall so I had to do a fairly major...
