I booked this for an early birthday surprise for my fiancé! It did not disappoint. We stayed in Suite 3 which was nothing less than stunning, the huge free standing bath dispersing water from the ceiling was definitely the feature of the room. We were greeted by champagne and there was also free champagne in the room. Staff were helpful,...

We went to this hotel for a 40th birthday treat with another couple. Whilst the glamour and quality of the interiors can not be contested, we felt this visit was disappointing due to the less than friendly (verging on the rude really) bar/waitressing staff, the very average food in the Thai restaurant and the general feeling the whole time that...

I bought an afternoon tea for 2 on Groupon, still expensive none the less at around £50. The Crazy Bear is a fab looking place, very quirky and different. So, we were seated by the pleasant waitress, who then asked for my voucher. The champagne and and sandwiches etc. were lovely.....although most afternoon teas I've been on replenish the tea,...

Top service by the pool... Didn't like that I had to leave hotel and cross over the road to my room... Booked this room on groupon but was a basic room not what the photos show.. BEWARE!!!! Cocktails wasn't nice at £15 a pop I couldn't drink it!

Had a brilliant time!! Booked this for my fiancé as a birthday present. Was SO reluctant as there's loads of not so good reviews but I literally cannot understand why. This place is fab! We arrived 3ish and were given our complimentary glass of champagne and taken to our beautiful delux room (no.19). The lady who showed us to our...

The Crazy Bear is an establishment where its reputation proceeds it; being regarded as one of the most opulent places to stay and dine. I was recently given a voucher to both dine and stay at the hotel which I was incredibly excited about. My partner and I checked in on Wednesday 27th April 2016 and were allocated room 116;...

Had the most incredible time at the Crazy Bear hotel for our 5th anniversary. We stayed in the new suite 33 which was absolutely perfect. Plenty of bubbly before we headed to their Thai restaurant where my Mrs claims she had her best dinner of all time. But it will be the service that I remember the most and that...

We stayed overnight at the crazy bear last week for our anniversary, booked with a groupon voucher for room, champagne, 3 course meal and Thai massage. I've never had to leave such a large deposit for one night's stay in a hotel before but we were required to pay £150 when we checked in for potential damages which I found...

Hotel staff were extremely rude at every stage where we incurred problems, whether that be a problem with: 1) size of the room 2) dirty bathroom 3) no ice bucket for champagne ordered to room 4) no choice of dinner for coeliac disease sufferers 5) heating on all night overheating the room 6) noisy neighbours 7) cold breakfast 8) attempted...

I took my boyfriend for a birthday surprise afternoon tea. We had a wonderful time he was overwhelmed with the experience. The staff and food was good. We will be booking into the hotel in the near future.
