It feels like the hotel rooms are just an add on to the pub, and the pub/restaurant i where all the investment is. The bar and restaurant are nice and welcome, but the rooms aren't. We had 3 rooms for our party, and every one of them was dirty and smelled musty. One room still had faeces in the toilet....

It is what u pay for. Staff are great hotel could do with a refurb but the beds and comfy and the sheets are clean. Rooms are a little dated but for the price you can't go wrong. Food is good at very good prices

Stayed here for one night over the weekend whilst visiting family. Unfortunately didn't read reviews before booking otherwise would never have stayed. I'm pretty much going to be echoing everything that has already been said. No-one on reception on arrival, damp musty smelling building, no soap in the bathroom and terrible mould/mildew in the bathroom. Was pretty disgusted as we...

Stayed here for a night as we needed to be at an event in the area the next morning. Firstly, there was nobody on reception, we had to ring from a battered old desk phone through to the bar for assistance, this took 20 minutes. Then when we got to the room, it was roasting hot, carpets were ripped and...

I booked this hotel as a budget stopover whilst working in the area. The hotel was in need of some maintenance, that at relatively low cost, could make a significant difference to the accommodation. For example, there was a smell of dampness in the room when I arrived. It became apparent when taking a shower what the cause of this...

We stayed in the hotel for two nights we had no hand soap to wash our hands. To which we brought our own. Room was cold. People fighting in the room next door to which it felt like they were going to come through our bathroom wall. No plug for the bath and loads of hair in plug. Shelves were...

Hotel is excellent for a nights stay before flying off from Luton. Room was clean and quiet and attached to the pub so very handy for food. As part of the hungry horse chain the food was good plentiful and very reasonably priced. If I fly from Luton again I would certainly stay here again.

Great staff terrible hotel, holes in carpets, walls, doors, stained carpets, mouldy walls, no heating, no TVs remote control. 40 mins to check in as reception computer did not work, I would not recommend this place to anyone . Very poor
