Solitude is one of four resorts my family and I have skied/boarded in Utah and is by far the worst we've experienced. It started and ended with Vikki's distasteful attitude at the ticket window sandwiched with a slow rental service and piss poor dining experience...More

Bottom line this is an epic resort. I probably will not ski in California anyomore. However, If you like to party hardy and need night life, this is not the place for you. Everything shuts down after skiing except a few restaurants that provide dinner.

I'm not familiar w/this particular unit. I do know there are central areas to BBQ and eat. The landscaping at the base of mountain is trees/cross country area and to the right of that is the ski mountain.
