We...a family of brother and sisters and children..have been coming here for about 8 years for a fun week of skiing and togetherness....I hate to reveal the secret but this place is wonderful for family gatherings....with just a few restaurants (2) and a few bars it is not trendy or hopping but perfect for children and moms and dads aunts...

Solitude is one of four resorts my family and I have skied/boarded in Utah and is by far the worst we've experienced. It started and ended with Vikki's distasteful attitude at the ticket window sandwiched with a slow rental service and piss poor dining experience at the Moonbeam lodge. My husband and son stood in line for an hour waiting...

we were a bit early in the ski season but has Airline credits that needed to be used. Super happy with our condo and in hindsight really enjoyed the timing we went. The mountain had plenty of snow for an eastern skier and the lift line we're non existing. Condo was extremely clean and well appointed.

Bottom line this is an epic resort. I probably will not ski in California anyomore. However, If you like to party hardy and need night life, this is not the place for you. Everything shuts down after skiing except a few restaurants that provide dinner.

Three families spent spring break (Apr 3-10) in this beautiful, luxury townhome whose pictures don't do it justice. Our only complaint was running out of hot water (there were 13 of us) and inconsistent wifi (it was not working majority of time). The spring lift tickets were an excellent deal for $49/adult and $29/child over 6. Townhouse is a short...

We splurged and enjoyed spending Christmas here a few years ago (2009--I had to put 2014 on the form) and it was just ideal--we could walk to the lift, which was great since my daughter was a kindergartener at the time. When we were done skiing, there were fire pits, ice skating, hot tubs, sauna and pool and more! Places...

We have been skiing with my children for the last 5 years. We go back to Solitude because of the tranquility and great deals we get every time we go. Every year we get a discount as we are returning customers. We also get great deals in rentals and lift tickets. The place is always at its prime with regards...

We have vacationed here several times and the skiing is always great and so uncrowded. The most and best runs for beginners plus plenty for intermediates as well. The advanced/expert runs range from easy enough for good intermediates to tackle to super steep. The powder is awesome and plentiful. We have stayed at the Inn and the condos. All are...

Because this is a ski resort the busy season is obviously winter. However this is a great place to get away from the heat and the crowds in the summer time. Off season rates exist and are enticing for what you get. Not to mention we had the place pretty much to ourselves. With hiking and biking trails starting at...

Solitude is a fun area to ski, but the night life is non-existant. In fact, the employees look at you like you've got two heads if you ask why the bar is closing at 830pm. Stay elsewhere if you want fun after skiing! Also, expensive lodging that is starting to show its age.
