Spent 10 days at the Casa and I'd be tempted to say that they are probably the best I've had down South over the last 15 years. This is the perfect place to spend time by the sea. You get all the advantages of an all-included package if that is what you're seeking as well as all the conveniences and...

We booked only three nights and next time will stay longer. Our upstairs room and balcony were terrific, the helpfulness and consideration of the entire family was outstanding, the prepared food by Ben, Edwardo, and co. from the lovely palapa kitchen was great, the easy access to fly fishing guides in town was appreciated, and best of all, there is...

We heard out about Casa Paraiso and Xcalak from our friends stories and immediately decided to stay here for couple of days at the beginning of our vacation in Yucatan. If we had known that Tulum & Mahahual are so crowded we would have stayed more at Casa Paraiso! Xcalak is truly magic in its simplicity and probably one of...

My husband and I spent 6 glorious nights at Casa Paraiso in Xcalak, Mexico. This boutique B&B is run by a delightful family - Ben & Esther Sutton, their children and Arena the dog. There are 4 colorful rooms with kitchens in a sparkling yellow building right on the beach. Big Plus: Eduardo & Betty will prepare a private dinner...

I was here several years ago and it was a pleasure to come back. The current owners, Esther and Ben have really invested in making the rooms more comfortable (king size beds, soft sheets, nice and fluffy towels) as well as the social areas. There are plenty of places to just sit and enjoy the beautiful and pristine Caribbean. Ben...

My partner and I visited Casa Paraiso over Christmas and couldn't have expected a nicer stay! This truly is a little piece of paradise - the rooms, beach, amenities, breakfast, everything is truly great! Ben and Esther are excellent hosts - very knowledgeable and always willing to provide guidance on what to do, where to go. We're already planning our...

We love this little hotel, so far from the bawdiness up the coast! Everything in this paraíso is clean, quiet and beautiful. The beach is white and soft and we mostly shared it with pelicans. The water inside the reef is crystal clear and perfect for snorkeling. Ben, Ester, and Eduardo have a delightful way of leaving you in peace...

The only bad part about taking a vacation here is that you won't want to leave! Ben and Ester are so welcoming and knowledgeable. They, along with Eduardo, will not disappoint you with breakfast either. Rooms are comfortable. Despite not having air conditioning, we did not find the rooms warm (we did travel in January). Ben has done a wonderful...

We have visited Xcalak for 1 to 2 weeks a year since 2009, Always staying at Casa Paraiso (x Casa Carolina). It was a great place when owned by Bob and Caroline and it improved when Ben and Esther bought it about 2 years ago. Ben made a number of improvements in bug proofing the rooms and in getting dependable...
