We stayed at Casa Quetzal for 2 nights, initially only booking for 1 night. We liked it so much we added on another night. The property is beautiful and staff very friendly. It was a perfect base for us to explore Valladolid and Chichen Itza. Breakfast was simple, but tasty! Room was spacious. I highly recommend this place!

I recently stayed at Casa Quetzal with 4 other women for one night. We were enchanted with Casa Quetzal! Not only were the accommodations clean and comfortable, but the staff and owner were so helpful and friendly. Friendly, as in "like friends". The location was quiet and convenient, right across the street from the convent. The owner, Judy, suggested two...

I found Casa Quetzal in Trip Advisor and loved the look and idea of it, but there should definitely be map in the hotel's website; it took us forever to get there and at reception we were told the gps information takes you somewhere else. Also we had confirmation, in writing, for an extra bed in a room but it...

The staff was very helpful, and the room was really large. The room was clean enough, but quite noisy in the morning and at night through other guests visiting the garden. Breakfast was simple. After reading the description and reviews from other guests we aspected more value for money.

If you have included Valladolid in your circuit you will be pleasantly surprised. This is a jewel in the heart of the Yucatan region and Casa Quetzal is simply beautiful. The distance from the city centre is no more than 10 minutes on foot and the convent nearby is a must. The hotel has a beautiful patio where guests take...

We loved this hotel, the entire experience was pleasant and we can't wait to return again. The room was clean and offered all the amenities you can ask for, this is the perfect time place to rest and have the opportunity to visit all the arqueological places nearby.

Friends in Merida alerted us about this place. We're glad we stayed. Not near the central plaza, but it's a lovely walk and the quiet grounds and delicious breakfast, combined with a spacious king room, complete with balcony, made this a tranquil base to explore Valladolid and surrounding sites. The staff was friendly, well-informed and impeccably helpful. You wouldn't otherwise...

We spent two nights here and wished we had stayed longer. We had the cabana suite and it was fantastic. Everything about the hotel and our suite was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed lounging in the hammock in our screened in patio kitchen/dining area. The linens, decor, lush gardens and thatched roof made for a charming setting. The free...

Lovely property with so many interesting, unique touches: lots to look at! The room #3 was very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast delicious. The hotel is near a quiet square and a good restaurant. It is outside of the central area but the street leading to the central plaza is filled with interesting shops and restaurants. This hotel has a masseuse...
