We stayed one night at the end of March after touring the area and Chechen. We arrived early so our room wasn't quite ready but we were invited to enjoy the pool area which we did and then decided to have an early dinner in their restaurant which worked out well as we were tired and very hungry. The pool refreshed...

Stayed one night in March. We had lunch and dinner there on 2 previous occasions, passing through, and thought it was charming, so decided to stay longer to visit the town. We booked a standard room. We arrived a bit early and were told told that the room was not ready. When we asked, we were also told that the...

Spent only one night here but thought it was such a great place we attempted to extend our stay unfortunately it was booked up. The location is excellent sitting on the main square and within walking distance of Cenote Zaci and a few bars/restaurants. The room was really good, comfy bed with all necessary amenities. We were lucky enough to...

Been dining here for years, always great and getting better. A great choice is the "valliadolid sausage platter. Breakfast is fast and hot!

Decided that three days at an All-Inclusive in Cancun needed to be balanced by a shot of real Mexico so we rented a car from EasyCar (great!) and drove to Valladolid. I booked a room @ El Meson del Marques partially based on traveller pix of quaint rooms. As others have said, location can't be beat - easy to find...

Interesting hotel on north side of central square. Reception now in the rear with parking. Restaurant in the front around courtyard with good food. Hotel was not ready for our group of 6 and took about 3/4 hour to arrange rooms. We were assigned 215 on the east one way north street, large bathroom with bidet but poor shower and...

We had booked online for 3 nights and no deposit. They had moved their reception area to the back of the building (with a piece of paper posted on the door next to the restaurant) and when we had just come from the ADO Bus station, Calle 39 was very convinient, just 2 blocks down and there was the entrance...

My girlfriend and I spent one night here while we toured the Yucatan. As it turned out, Valladolid was one of the better places we visited, and an extra day would have been worth it. This hotel was nice - right on the Zocalo, a large parking lot (included), helpful staff, and a very clean room. I have read reviews...

It is a really beautiful hotel with lovely grounds. Stayed for three days. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Room clean, etc. Only thing was that we got one of the motel-like rooms in the building out back. A little dark, but otherwise well appointed. Just not the old colonial experience we had hoped for. Great to have the pool onsite...

Great hotel in the centre. It was a large mansion, now extended with pool and open courtyard restaurant. Clean rooms. Reception extremely helpful, especially when I could not get my credit or debit cards to work (not uncommon in Mexico, I find.) Very good menu, reasonably priced.
