maya luna is a great place to stay to relax and unwind. the owners are really lovely people and the atmosphere is casual and friendly. it's small, so people staying there tend to chat with each other, have drinks after dinner, etc. but you can also stay to yourself, if you prefer. the bungalows are very spacious and comfortable, and...

We were with a group of 6 persons. It was great staying with Jan and Caroline. The children really liked the diving; me too and also liked the reading and the quietness/ the atmosphere in the hotel is really the most impressive part. After relaxing and thinking about work and other issues for e few days the hollidays really start....

We stayed for about a week in Hotel Maya Luna in June 2009. It was quite a long trip to get there from Cancun but it was so worth it. At arrival we started with a lunch, from that moment on we were addicted to the great food they serve in the restaurant. Besides the excellent kitchen Maya Luna offers...

We had an amazing and relaxing visit to this place when our cruise ship stopped at Costa Maya. After about a 10 minute taxi ride, we saw flowering bushes, tropical fruit in the garden, and beautiful sand leading to the ocean. The owner arranged for someone to take a few of our group snorkling and for a massage therapist from...

My wife and I just happened upon this wonderful little hotel when traveling the Yucatan in March. We were looking for a peaceful respite from the hectic sightseeing we had done the previous two weeks at various Mayan archaeological sites. Maya Luna was exactly what we were looking for. We were lucky that one cabana was still available. So, we...

Good quality of food, mostly catch of the day (fish). You should try the stuffed pinapple dish. The view over the see is like paradise! The hotel is situated outside of the small village. Crew members of the hotel are very kindful and they give good advice for nice trips in yacatan (or Mexico)

WE found this hotel from this site and was so grateful to have a quiet hotel that matched the surroundings of this formally quiet fishing village. We had amazing food and one night Jan cooked us a freshly cooked lobster. It was cooked to absolute perfection, no overpowering sauces, just a bit of garlic and expert handling. If you are...

I have stayed at the Maya Luna about 4 times over the last 5 years. It has improved over time and feels like home. Caroline runs an excellent operation and the restaurant comes out with some great food for breakfast and for dinner. I love the peace and quiet of the location and find it very relaxing for reading and...

My boyfriend and I were on a cruise out of New Orleans. Thankfully I had read about the Maya Luna hotel here on Trip Advisor before we left. At the port, we passed up all the people pestering us trying to do their excursion, and saying their's is the best, and went straight out the gates and hopped in a...

It doesnt have all the bells and whistles but if you are looking for a very secluded and romantic get away than this is the place. All the rooms have roof...
