This was my first visit to Akumal so I don't have any previous experience or other accommodations to compare to, but I thought the Hotel Caribe was outstanding! The grounds were lovely, the location was excellent, the staff were warm and friendly. My mom and I stayed on the upper floor of the hotel building closest to the beach, which...

This is out third stay here and we are in the main block of 3 storied building right on the beach and each room has an excellent view - upper and beach side corners have better beach views maybe, but lowest floor gives you direct access to the beach - and I mean 30 steps. Rooms have a/c, reasonable powered...

Thank you for your review! We realize that there are issues that should be reported to our booking clients but the situation changes on an almost daily basis and a lot of the details are unclear, even to us. To date, the permits have been given out once again to around 30 groups, and the amount per group is not...

The property offers a large beachfront hotel and bugalows designed in the style of days of old. A very economical choice and centrally located to restaurants, diving and shopping in the heart of Akumal. There is a private pool and beach chairs/cabanas available to guests.

We loved our stay at the Villa B&B. It is separate from the hotel but you check in at the same office and eat breakfast at the same restaurant. The villa is a beautiful property. Nice grounds and beautiful pool. There are only 5 rooms, so it is fairly private. The property is fenced and gated and there are security...

This hotel was great for our family (2 adults, 2 kids age 4 and 8); we were looking for a small alternative to the big all-inclusive hotels and this place was ideal. We had a ground floor room facing the pool area which was perfect. Very low key, quiet and relaxing; we could walk straight out to the beach or...

We stayed in a bungalow. It was just steps away from the beach, the pool, the incredible restaurant... anything you could need. The staff is amazing. Basically the most enjoyable and relaxing vacation I've ever had.

Great location, friendly staff, a minute to the beach. Partially free breakfast. This location is wonderful. Good starting off point for cenote, lagoon and ocean snorkeling. Within walking distance of restaurants and convenience stores.

This was perfect for us. Clean and welcoming and the federal protected turtle sanctuary is right there. Beautiful beach and recently protected from tourists. The landscape was beautiful and well maintained. The pool is clean and in view of the beach. Palapas for shade and beach loungers on request. Love it and will return.
