I was shocked by the incredible view when we arrived and it is literally on the beach. Well appointed with fridge, stove, microwave, etc and a good sized living room with plenty of seating. Let me emphasize that this is not a 5 star hotel. Because of the moisture involved with a place like this, there was a lot of...

Lovely little place. Nice restaurants in walking distance, lovely pool, right in the beach. Can be a little remote but you can just rent bikes for very little to get around. Yal Ku lagoon on one side and turtle bay on the other are both great for snorkelling.

We just got back from a last minute weekend getaway at Hotel Akumal Caribe Villas Flamingo. It was the ideal place to go away with our two best friends and their 4 year old. We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious our Villa was and we loved the layout. It was very well equipped—we lacked for nothing! The outdoor pool...

Located right in the middle of Half Moon Bay this boutique villa hotel has 4 villas and a magnificent newly designed cenote pool with waterfall. The rooms are spacious, balconies and patios are wonderful and it comes with all the amenities you would. It is perfect for a couple but I would highly recommend it for a group - book...

We were a little reluctant giving up the all inclusive. We have stayed at all the Iberostar's as well as Eldorado Casta Royal Seaside and we have never been disappointed. we have had a 5 star vacation time every time. So giving all the comfort and quality of an all-inclusive was a struggle for us. But I have to say...

I could never ever even consider an all inclusive resort after my stay at Villas Flamingo. Immerse yourself here in the "real" beauty, culture and nature. It's non-commercial, quite secluded and peaceful with two great restaurants a stroll down the beach. The view and architecture together are breathtaking. I am very picky about making sure not to stay in places...

Just returned from a stay at Villas Flamingo #2. I was a nice 1 Bdrm, two story located steps away from the pool situated 100 feet from the water of Half Moon Bay. Great sand but there is a bunch of coral and rock when you get in the water. Swimming in the next bay on Akumal's main beach is...

We stayed at Villas Flamingo #2 September 10th -15th and it was absolutely perfect. It was right on Half Moon Bay, within walking distance to both La Lunita Restaurant and La Buena Vida Restaurant. This unit is perfect for a couple seeking a romantic getaway that wants a gorgeous beach location and something more than a hotel room. The unit...

We were in Villa 3. Well maintained, A/C in bedroom worked quietly and efficiently. Hot water, internet, magnificent views. Beach nice to walk on, but not very wide. You can go swimming, but it is rocky right off the beach. You definitely need a car, except to walk to La Lunista restaurant, which is worthy of another ++review.

We had a wonderful vacation at Villa Flamingo. We stayed in Villa #3. The Villa was very clean and spacious and the housekeeper did a wonderful job of maintaining it. The air conditioner worked very well in the bedroom and we opened up the patio doors and windows on the main floor and the breeze was really nice. Villa #3...
