This place is over 200 years old and has a richly authentic Spanish Colonial style that fits in perfectly with the charm of Alamos. Very close to the cathedral in the historic part of town. Each room was uniquely different and because we were in a group we "toured" each other rooms. They were just basic, no phones, TV's, small...

place has character but is under-staffed. No one picked up the phone at 8am in the morning, and when I called back at 8.30 they told me to call back at 10am. No one around in the evening. Room was not worth the rate asked, and was VERY noise from traffic, has to sleep in the single bed away from...

This hotel was highly recommended by friends. We arrived to find no one around and when the desk person showed up he did not have our reservation. Anyway we paid the quoted price and that was fine. The place definitely needs sprucing up....Our unit 16 was clean and impressive. The shower water flew all over the bathroom and definitely needs...

My family has been coming to Tesoros for almost 50 years and they are still a treasure. Great margaritas, with lots of fresh lime, not too sweet, just the right amount of tequila. Teetotalers can enjoy the equally delicious limonatas.

This is an old Mansion House built around a lovely garden. Our room was a corner room and was huge. It had a beamed ceiling with red tiles above. It had a massive fireplace with stone mantel. A circular table and 2 chairs in one corner and a 3 seater sofa! All the furniture was antique. We had a spacious...

We stayed here three nights. This is an old hacienda style hotel. The furniture is old Mexican. The room was large with very high ceilings and a good shower and a great bed however it was very noisy from street sounds and a clunky man hole cover outside our window, so sleep was sporadic. There are no comfortable chairs anywhere,...

Arrived in hotel and was amazed by beautiful courtyard and historical paintings depicting the former nuns that once roamed this restored convent. The room was very clean and the high ceilings and adobe walls kept the temperatures low. Staff are friendly and genuine! Fiest your eyes on the frescos in Chato's bar and wet your pallet with the best margarita...

Historic hotel. Some rooms are small, number 16 was the best - relatively big with dual sinks and deep tub in bathroom. Old style decorative tiles in bathrooms add to the charm. Multiple modern AC's in rooms. Small pool, bar and restaurant on site. Free Wifi in hotel office, restaurant (and nearby rooms). Helpful staff - switched our room since...

Absent staff. Rustic hotel. Even there is courtyard with some beautiful flowers and plants, but the place is so worn down, let you feel uncomfortable. Room is spacous with high ceiling, fireplace, and stone floor, but the bathroom is terrible.

I stayed a weekend and place is nice, rustic. Fresh room with high ceiling. I ate at Charisma restaurant (next to La Mansion, same than Casa de los Tesoros) and food was excellent!
