I'm not the kid of guy who would normally rate a hotel or write a review but these guys deserve an acknowledgement of their hard work and efforts to make this place as AMAZING as it is, no TV, A/C, or cell phone signal, but you don't really need any of these when you are in such an amazing place.

Basic straw huts dotted around the site with communal showers. Accommodation was simple but clean. Staff were helpful and provided good customer service. Food in the dining hall is typically mexican and simple. Better than a normal boring hotel building and the ideal base from which to explore this beautiful area.

Such a nice place, is like far away from the civilization but an excellent place for resting and enjoying the nature, not signal 3G or 4G but that is the best part, you don't really need to be watching social networks and you can't so is amazing!! you are in touch with the people, face to face. The food is...

The adorable little palapa/huts, the gorgeous river, the great staff, the wonderful food. We were exhausted after our day of rafting - down the most beautiful river in the world - that we skipped the movie night and went right to sleep in our comfortable beds. It's rustic, it's remote(ish) it doesn't have reliable 3G/4G signal. But that's not why...

For me this acommodation was perfect, we were there for 1 night but really for us was the best place in Cd. Valles, the people was so nice and with exceptional attitude, the place it's in the side to Casacadas Micos, so for that reason you sleep with a nice sound and you wake up in an amazing place around...

This is the best place to stay if you're paddling the Micos and surrounding rivers. Well kept grounds, great facilities and very friendly staff. Carlos, the owner, manager of the place is very nice and knows all put-ins and take-outs. If you're a family of paddlers or just looking for class 3 paradise, come and stay here!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Eco-touristic Accommodation on the Micos bank (Ciudad Valles), a perfect spot if you want to discover the Huasteca Potosina and all the natural activities of the area. Indeed, our hotel is located at the heart of the Huasteca, in a huge natural environment very close to the « Sierra de la Colmena » jungle, next to Micos River and only 20 minutes away from the facilities of a city (Ciudad Valles). Come and enjoy staying in one of the bungalows whose architecture and eco-technics are friendly to the environment. The construction materials of each one of the bungalows ( palm, bamboo, marble,...) as well as their color create a perfect atmosphere to make you feel integrated in nature. Don'tt stop dreaming and come to relax in our steam Prehispanic bath... this place will really help purifying your body and mind. You can also try one of our massages... just lie down, relax, listen to the sounds of the waterfalls and birds and let the masseur look after you. ... more   less
