I wish I could live in Perico forever! I have visited three times now and would live there if I could! The managers are so attentive and personal, and treat guests as family. They go out of the way to make sure your stay is comfortable. Also, the grounds are incredible and the swimming pool and the terraza are a...

I stayed at the Hotel Perico for three months while looking for a long term rental apartment. I enjoyed every minute of my stay there. Management is wonderful and very accommodating. Each unit is appointed differently and very colorful. My favorite spots on the property were the Terrazzo, the Koi pond and the expansive property for walking around. It is...

My husband and I came to Hotel Perico for the first time in November, 2014. We had reserved a suite for two weeks but ended up staying seven. Need we say more! The suites are cozy and comfortable and the views are spectacular! Tom, Jan, Tina and the rest of the staff are one of the reasons we keep coming...

I do a lot of house-sitting around Mexico and in between sits, I stay at Hotel Perico. It's like coming home after being away...always good to see Tom, and Jan and Tina and Rocky the King of the Dogs at Perico, and the rest of the long-timers who have made it their home. It's located about 3 kilometers north of...

The Hotel is in a wonderful location overlooking lake Chapala. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Hotel has a community feel to it with quite a few long term renters staying there. It's great to stay at a Hotel that is so pet friendly.. Their resident Dog "Rocky" is always there...

I have used this hotel for three dog agility events and each time it has been a pleasure to work with them. Sports field is awesome, outside terrace and pool great for guests. Hotel is vintage but very clean, with efficiency facilities in the rooms. Awesome views. Guests need a car to best enjoy the area from this location. Rates...

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Perico for two weeks and really enjoyed our time there. The accommodations are comfortable and clean. It's a nice community and we quickly got to know most of our neighbors. The manager (Tom) and his family were all absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to help us out with anything we needed,...

We recently enjoyed an extended stay at the Hotel Perico in Chapala, MX. It is located off the beaten path on the Libramente bypass road so it is away from the noise and traffic (and sometimes the craziness of non-stop Fiestas!!) that makes Chapala such a great destination! You will enjoy the peace and quiet as well as a nice...

After staying at Perico, it's become a second home, with the management and guests quickly becoming friends. If you're there for a couple days or a few months, you will be treated like family. I'm looking forward to the day I get to go back to Perico.

“Rooms facing the back are private and have a pastoral view, rooms facing the main part of the hotel are equally as pleasant view wise and tend to be more social. If you like talking to fellow travelers and locals from all over the world locations of room is not important. Everyone is helpful and friendly.”
