We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay at this lovely quaint hotel. Food was fabulous and the included breakfasts were a great start to the day. We were fortunate to have Pierre entertain everyone during happy hour with his piano playing turning the restaurant into an old time sing-along! Our hostess (Judy) and host (Michael) were more than helpful with...

Nothing less than a pleasure; a stay at the Nueva Posada Hotel in Ajijic, Jalisco, Mexico. Located on the shore of Lake Chapala; cobblestone streets out front was just what I was looking for. Travelling by bus; a short walk to the highway that goes through town get get you off on day trips; by car; gated parking adjacent the...

We had the pleasure of experiencing La Nueva Posada during Christmas and New Year. This hotel is clean, quaint, romantic, quiet, and very relaxing. A beautiful courtyard welcomes you for a complimentary breakfast every morning and Paco, the resident parrot, adds to the charm of Ajijic's little secret hideaway as you overlook Lake Chapala. The staff are very courteous. Rooms...

We visited this lovely Inn a few years ago in November. The room rates were very reasonable and include a delicious breakfast on the outside patio under a huge rubber tree! I booked LA Nueva Posada from the Internet and we were very impressed with our wonderful experience. The staff were well trained with good English and even helped me...

Great blend between old Mexico and enough WiFi to make it all work. Beautiful views of the lake, quiet part of town, really authentic feel. Has a few rough edges that seem to fit with the old-school style. Good restaurant (breakfast is included), although closing at 8 pm is a bit early. Friendly and accommodating staff. Enchanting overall effect. I...

My Wife and I stayed for 3 nights in early October. A very nice hotel by local standards but no extra luxuries like coffee maker, fridge or AC. I love the Mexican décor and the central position to the Malacan and central plaza is perfect for exploring. The included breakfast was super and staff very helpful. WiFi worked quite well....

We are renting a house in Ajijic for a year, following our first visit to the town in June 2015. High priority after getting settled in was a return to La Nueva Posada Hotel for a romantic dinner on the beautifully landscaped lakeside patio. We were not disappointed! It was a quiet September evening, perfect temperature, soft breezes, quiet dining...
