Took a quick trip to Prince Edward Island and decided to stay at Barachois Inn as I had last year. When I called to reserve Innkeeper Judy remembered me which was really great. The room was well appointed as last year and the grounds were spectacular with well maintained gardens. Our purpose for travel was to bring a friend to...

This is a beautiful B&B close to Cavendish area, beaches, and other main attractions in PEI. We stayed in the separate house, which has lots of character even though it is a newer build. Very quiet area, beautiful grounds, very clean and comfortable, and a great breakfast. Have the french toast! The owners are very friendly and helpful and will...

We stayed in one of the upstairs suites in the guesthouse. Great bed, very spacious suite all with aircon, free wireless, fridge and nice terrace to sit in the evening...When you take a closer look, you notice that this house is in many ways a copy the old, Victorian main house. Except it is brand new! How often do you...

Barachois is everything you want in a B&B in terms of charm, location, and quality. But what really set it apart for me was that I forgot my favorite shirt there and they mailed it to me in NYC, free of charge. Wonderful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a room on the top floor and loved the character of the building. The grounds are beautiful. When we first arrived I was worried about noise from the adjacent road, but it turned out to be very quiet and I never heard a thing in our room. The owners are friendly and helpful...

Thank you Judy and family for taking us in after we were cancelled by the Dalvay Inn, caring for us, upgrading us to a suite which was a blessing, for being helpful and informative, to name a few. It was such a pleasure meeting you!! Our suite was a dream come true, something we have never had. Here we were...

Our travel books were a little inaccurate about this Inn's location. Luckily, a woman at a local gas station remember this place and pointed up the road to its location (we were just wandering the island with no advance reservations which you can do in September). I enjoyed the personality of Mr. McDonald. We stayed in the adjoining building upstairs...

As Innkeepers of a bed and breakfast we tend to stay in as many b&bs as possible. A recent retreat to Prince Edward Island was no different and we stayed at the Barachois Inn. We booked over the phone and the Innkeeper Judy made sure we chose a great room. As we drove up the road to the picturesque setting...

Thank you so much for your kind words. We are so pleased to have happy guests and we hope that you will return to the Barachois Inn again soon. The Fall Flavours Festival begins in September and there are many wonderful events happening throughout the province showcasing the best of what PEI has to offer. Hope to see you then....

We stayed 3 nights at the Barachois Inn and were totaly delighted by it's charm and the hospitality of the McDonald family. Our room was well kept and absolutely gorgeous. (see photo). The bed was more than comfortable, and the lack of vehicle traffic, resulted in a very sound nights sleep. The grounds are tidy and tastefully designed. The bathroom...

We both enjoyed our visit to PEI this summer it was a quick get away from our work and we toured the area and took in most of the tourist attractions and this location is a great driving distance to do all your day trips around the island and we enjoyed the property very much. We had a larger room...
