My daughter and I spent an evening in one of the cottages. It was delightful. The owner Brenda, is charming, an artist and one can tell as the rooms, the breakfast area, all have attention to detail and original art. The is also an art studio which you could spend hours in looking at all of the art from designers...

My friend and I stayed in South Baymouth on a very foggy and rainy night. With the thunder and lightening outside, we felt very cozy in our room at the b and b. Good beds and excellent wifi, and a lovely breakfast the next morning, with fresh fruit, homemade preserves and artisan breads. The guesthouse is less than a half...

We had a wonderful night at this guesthouse. The town is scenic with great views of the lake and places to walk. Watch the ferry come in at night-- spectacular. The accommodations were quite comfortable and the breakfast was great. Don't miss the art/jewelry for sale. I normally avoid that sort of thing but what Brenda had was high class....

We had a Great stay. Brenda was really nice and we still found a place at 10.30 p.m. when arriving with the ferry. Breakfast was good. Rooms are lovely decorated. Very close to the Ferry docking Station.

My husband and I spent two nights at Southbay Guesthouse last week. My husband was returning to his childhood home for what he thought was a final visit. This will not be a final visit if he is spared and well. What can we say? So much to recommend with regards to this B & B! The accommodation was delightful,...

We usually blast through South Baymouth after getting off the ferry. Instead, this year we took the last one and stayed on Manitoulin, avoiding all the ferry traffic and really lucking out on a terrific spot. A lovely room (#3?), with a wonderful whirlpool bath – just the thing after a long day of traveling! The room also has a...

We stayed here on our first night on Manitoulin Island and was so impressed with Brenda and her team that we booked our last night on the Island with her as well. Carol loved the gift shop and we both loved both rooms that we stayed in. Brenda is an amazing host and makes you feel right at home. We...

On a busy summer weekend, we were afraid that we wouldn't find anything at all, and would just have to drive further into the island. They did indeed have a room for us on a Friday night, and it was nice staying in the quaint little town. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Her gallery is beautiful, and full...

We stayed at Brenda's Guesthouse for a night last week-end. It was our first trip to Manitoulin Island. The single-room house was very clean, welcoming and homelike. The breakfast was very nutritious too. The place is very close to the dock and to a family restaurant with delicious homemade food. Next time when we sail to the island, we will...

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in August. The room was small but clean and comfortable, with a queen size bed, full bathroom and a small fridge. Our host, Brenda, was very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about the area. She gave us restaurant and sightseeing tips that were truly appreciated. We also enjoyed browsing through her gallery...
