If you happen to be going to Port Colborne, then you will want to stop in to The Canalside Restaurant. Their menu has something for everyone's tastes. When you arrive, you will be warmly greeted by the staff in this nautical themed restaurant. They have a great drink menu (beer, wine, and cocktails) to go along with their delicious appetizers,...

My family and I are constantly eating here, and it has always been amazing. Plenty of options on tap, a great menu, and daily features that never fail to bring a unique twist to classic dishes. All that, with a great view and a beautiful outdoor seating area, combine to produce a truly wonderful dining experience.

The room we stayed in was above the restaurant and it was very large, with eclectic decor and a full kitchen. It overlooked the canal so one could watch the ships going through the canal. The room was well-equipped and comfortable. One can hear the live entertainment from the restaurant but it wasn't obtrusive. The owner was very helpful in...

Spent the night in this historical building overlooking the canal. Had a good night sleep and loved the view of the canal from our private room. We also had dinner in the restaurant. It was the best beef tenderloin I have ever had. My husband loved the samosa and his blackened catch of the day. Great selection of drinks as...

I won a free night stay at this Inn, it was for a charity event. We had a great time at the restaurant and then proceeded upstairs to a wonderful night sleep. The room has some nice antique furnishings for Treasures on West located right next door. I was able to relax and watch the ships pass right by our...

Excellent meal and great service highly recommend for lunch or supper or just a drink on the patio. The kitchen store was also very interesting with many good ideas for our kitchen or gifts for friends and family.

We stayed one night and had a great time. The building is very old and has a lot of quirks, but it's like the houses my fiancee and I grew up in so it's just like going home. Our room faced the Welland Canal and we were able to watch several ships come through during our stay. The room itself...

I got my ethnocentric (In the food sort of way) boyfriend to try samosas for the first time and he loved them. The atmosphere was awesome the servers are polite and the rest of our food was amazing. The rassbery chipotle cheesecake was so tasty. I would come here again.

We're sad to report that this was the worst hotel we stayed in during our two-week vacation. The room is immediately over the restaurant and smelled strongly of cooking odours. The room itself, although very large, looks unfinished with wiring running down the walls, ceiling tiles not finished etc. The bathroom was small and not clean. The 'free' wifi was...

“The front room faces the street and Welland Canal. It's an entertaining view but a bit noisy. We did not see the back room but I'm sure it's quieter; the proprietor told us it was bigger than the front room.”
