I was so happy to find this hotel. We travel from New Brunswick to Southwestern Ontario yearly with two dogs in tow. Was very nervous about finding a place to stop over with the dogs. Well this hotel is about halfway and a welcomed sight after going through Montreal or Toronto. It's not far off the 401 which is wonderful....

Right along the St. Lawrence river, in Morrisberg, this place is a little jewel. Lots of free parking. Free wifi. The rooms are clean and in good shape. The staff is attentive and friendly. The food is excellent with no complaints about the portions. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here one night, in order to visit Pumpkinferno at Upper Canada Village. This place has been around awhile, and though decor may be dated, it was comfortable and clean. Price was very reasonable. Restaurant attached had good food at reasonable prices, including Ontario wines, also reasonably priced. Enjoyed our stay.

We ate at the restaurant for McIntosh Inn last night on it way too Pumpkin Inferno at Upper Canada Village. I am seriously disappointed by what they called a "Rib Eye Surf and Turf" dinner. They brought me a very thin slice of what must've been pot roast (It was this thick | |, not an exaggeration). I've eaten bigger...

I am a pretty big man and did not fit well into the bathroom in my unit on room 114. If you are tired and need some rest, this place would do in a pinch but needs to be upgraded. The staff and restaurant help were very nice. We had a very good breakfast here and the cook came out...

Next time we'll go to MacDonalds. The management has to be more aware of the Upper Canada Playhouse schedules when booking staff. The poor wait staff were going crazy with the number of customers (yes we did have a res), and the kitchen staff could NOT keep up. We waited 30 mins for our beer, and and a full 55...

Stayed the weekend in Morrisburg at a local b&b, to bicycle and take in the Upper Canada Village playhouse. We looked for the "best" restaurant in the area, but few options, so this was it. While we were going to order off the menu,we did the buffet, as ordering off the menu would have been more than the all inclusive...

My wife and I travel for extended periods and have relatively large suitcases. The McIntosh has a steeply sloping front entry ramp, and a sill on the front door of at least one inch in height. Their luggage trolley, without pneumatic wheels, cannot get over that sill without someone lifting the front end - not easy with a heavy load....

We were looking for a place to stay after a long day on the road and picked the McIntosh as it looked a lot better than nearby alternatives. It was ok. Staff was very friendly. The rate with the Autoclub discount was great so I'd recommend this if you are on a budget. The room itself was clean but dated....

We had tickets for the Upper Canada Playhouse so decided to have dinner at the McIntosh County Inn. We have no regrets. Originally we called to be sure we could order off a menu as we know they have a buffet. We were told be could order from the menu. When all was said and done, we ended up having...
