The setting is beautiful. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are very charming. The hostess, Susan, provides wonderful meals. There’s a comfortable bench nestled in the trees where you can sit & read for the day. You can sit on the second floor deck at night & admire the night sky & the lights dancing off the water in the bay.

Just had a fantastic stay in the heart of Gore Bay at the Queen's Inn. Beautifully appointed, perfectly situated across from the Harbour, the Queen's Inn is a premiere experience with outstanding hosts, Susan and Robert. We had the Victoria Room - ample space with a harbour-facing view, it was a gorgeous retreat for our three days on the western half of the Island. Breakfast meals are sublime and the Inn hosts are erudite, informative, congenial and a delight to converse with. The verandas are the perfect spot to ease into some relaxing time watching the boats come and go. Cannot recommend this Inn highly enough - our three night stay was simply too short! Thank you, Susan and Robert for your gracious hospitality!

My sister & I stayed with Susan & Robert July 20-22, 2022, and absolutely loved it. The Inn is beautifully decorated with antique furniture, paintings and collectables from all of their travels. Rooms are spacious, and airy and very comfortable. The front verandahs have stunning views of the harbour and marina activity. Deer free roam Gore Bay, and otters play on the docks. The breakfasts were yummy and Susan always provided a choice of eating times, and menu items. We hope to return next year for another stay, before boarding our brothers boat for a weekend on the water. Plenty of parking on site. Not sure if they have AC but Susan opens all doors and windows, fans in the rooms, so despite July heat, none was required. You won't be disappointed!

The best B and B we have ever experienced. After a warm welcome the hosts Robert and Susan did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Excellent breakfasts with attention given to special dietary needs, a spacious, spotless well furnished bedroom and lounge areas where guests can meet all added up to a most enjoyable stay.

Stayed here one night on a recommendation from our friend. Our room was very spacious and comfy. We were greeted upon arrival by the owner Susan. Our view was the waterfront. We had unit #1 The breakfast in the morning was to die for. Will definitely be back possibly next year. Call ahead for reservations as there are only 8 rooms. They are all nice.

What can we say that others haven’t already? The Inn was beautiful and full of fantastic decor, Susan and Robert were gracious, knowledgeable and helpful hosts, the location can’t be beat, and the breakfasts were out of this world. We stayed two nights in the Victoria room and it was spacious and very quiet. I would recommend this Inn to anyone visiting the island.

Susan and Robert were such giving hosts and the breakfasts were first class. Gore Bay is a great home base to see the island; this trip the spring flowers. We cannot wait to go back to see the rest of the island or maybe just sit back and enjoy the beautiful Queen's Inn, and enjoy the company of our hosts.

Lovely ancient/restored Inn/B&B, very nice breakfast from 8-9:30, comfortable beds, beautiful/interesting art throughout. Hosts exceptionally congenial and helpful. Nothing is far in Gore Bay but this is just a bit up from downtown, lovely water-view, very quiet.

My wife and I just returned from a 3 day visit at the Queens Inn. Susan and Robert were wonderful hosts and Susan was a magnificent cook. The breakfast and service was excellent, the organization and cleanliness of the facility was impeccable!!!! The upper veranda offered a magnificent view of Gore Bay and the deer that I saw in the morning from the Veranda was icing on the cake. A two minute walk to the Split Rail microbrewery was an added bonus! This was our first time in a Bed and Breakfast and I would definitely go back.

I have stayed here twice and Susan, the host, is lovely and welcoming. Her breakfasts are amazing and she can suggest plenty of things to see and do whilst in the area. We travelled with kayaks and bikes attached to our vehicle and it wasn't a problem parking there. There are some great places to eat in town and the Split Rail micro brewery.
