Evergreen Resort is under new management this year. They are changing all the mattress and doing some landscaping. They hope for customer who had unpleasant visit the last time, will come back and try it out again. We appreciate your business.

Last place on the island that had a room. Should have been a red flag. After the last ferry ride over and trying to decipher their instructions (terrible) we got lost. After phoning and given more terrible instructions, we finally found the entrance. Their lights to the sign were turned off. Should have been another red flag. Cabin we stayed...

This resort is sitting on a beautiful, quiet piece of property on the shores of ice lake. It could be fantastic but sadly it is not. I booked this resort for a one night stay based on the information and pictures I saw on the Internet. The pictures show clean, well maintained cottages. Another fallacy. I should have guessed there...

Will never stay here again! We were charged $175 for one night... which we got one bed and our son had to sleep on a couch. There were spiders everywhere. No phone or clock in the room. And we were charged $30 for our small, non shedding dog, and then told she had to remain in her crate and not...

This place is fantastic and very reasonably priced. Staff is very courteous and let's you keep to yourself if that's what you want. I'm repeat customer! We had the smallest cabin and found it perfectly sized for two people. Next year we will want a slightly larger cabin so we can bring along some of our family

Missing blinds, had to put up a blanket for privacy, clean, yes...but old stained floor in bathroom, yellowed towels...dropped ceiling with broken tile...and the bed...seriously paint the wooden framed home made bed! Friendly people, yes, lovely! Price of stay not justified, not fair.

Beautiful place. So quiet and peaceful. Room was very clean. Continental breakfast was ok. Its a family resort but we went at the end of the season so there were very few people there. Nice swimming pool as well as a small beach.

the cottage was nice enough but the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, mattress on plywood, very firm and the pillows flat and hard. Fridge froze my eggs and lettuce one the first day. liked the location on Manitoulin, the lake is beautiful.

We stayed here for a week with our family in cottage #2. It was perfect - the cottage was clean and well maintained (not fancy, but that's not what we were expecting nor what they advertise). The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and we will definitely be back again! The sandy beach was lovely, our young kids (8 and...

For rustic charm and relaxation, would recommend the Evergreen Resort. We stayed in cabin 10, with a deck right on Ice Lake. Nights would find us falling asleep to the sound of waves lapping on the shore. During the day, breezes from the lake kept the temperatures just perfect for reading or sleeping on the deck. There is a wonderful...
