Louis knows customer service. Louis knows generosity. Louis knows good food. The guy is an absolute gem and a welcome reception after an 18 day winter expedition through the park. He took care of us like we were one of us own. So, so friendly! Can't say thanks enough Louis!

Chef Manager Louis is awesome! He made us feel right at home, prepared a wonderful dinner and brought us to the airport. All those who need accommodation in Pangnirtung are fortunate that Louis is the innkeeper.

Had an amazing experience after backpacking Auyuittuq NP. Louis was very helpful with the accommodation, food, and logistics. No complaints, I look forward to staying here again when I visit Pang again.

Our hosts went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The meals were as good as home and the hotel is well managed. We stayed during a very busy period and the administration was able to find rooms despite the seasonal occupancy - Richard W.

I spent two days at the lodge for business. The food was very good and is served in a cafeteria style where you go up to the counter and the meal is put on your plate. The rooms are simple but clean. Bathrooms are shared but are also very clean. A good experience.

Just your basic small hotel in the north, nothing special. Louis the manager is the cook as well. Decent food no complaints. Very quiet Lots of locals seemed to make there way in to sell their crafts.

This is the only hotel in Pang and it is not uncommon for the the hotel to be booked up months in advance. The alternative is to camp or stay in a home stay (contact me directly for my review on both). You have a choice of a room with shared bathrooms or a single room with private bathroom; the...

This is the only hotel in town, so it's not like there is choice, unless you choose to camp on the territorial campground near the base of Mount Duval. Louis is the manager/chef/chauffeur who keeps the place going. On my journey north, I had a 6 hour layover in Pangnirtung. Louis let me use one of the unoccupied rooms to...

I had not been to the Lodge since 1980 then on business. This was a vacation and we very much enjoyed the hospitality...Our host Louis picked us up at the airport and offered insight on Pang....His cooking is excellent, the rooms are plain but clean and it is clear he is managing the best he can in a remote location....

This Lodge will always hold a dear place in my heart. It is a basic lodge but it has everything you need in the Arctic, warm rooms, comfy beds and hot food served 3 times a day! I was impressed it had wifi and how good it was! Most of all, it has a sense of community and family, with...
