We only stayed one night on the way north, but it was memorable. A great room, quiet with a big view. Good breakfast. Perfect internet. Wonderful hostess. If you stay here, I suggest that you go to the Clove Hitch for dinner (not fancy).

I booked my room a little over a week out for a 2 week motorcycle trip across the Canadian Maritime Provinces. Clarke and I spoke over the phone and he seemed great and very accommodating. When I arrived I didn't have any problem finding the place. Clarke came out to meet me and showed me to my room. Their place is very modern and new. The bedroom and bathroom were welcoming and recently renovated. This was my first stay at a B&B and I wasn't sure what to expect, but both Clarke and Shelley welcomed me in and it was like staying at an old friends house. I slept very well in quite comfortable bed, and didn't hear a thing all night (and I'm a light sleeper). The next morning I packed up the motorcycle and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast, one of the best on my trip. Shelley even gave me a little snack for the road which was perfect. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend staying here. The hosts were friendly and the room was perfect. I couldn't ask for anything more!

If you are visiting the Port Hood area you could not do better than book in here. Shelley & Clarke have a beautiful home and a friendly approach. Their view is amazing as is their breakfast! They are certainly in the right business.

We stayed here for 3 nights and were made to feel very welcome by Shelley and Clarke. They were excellent hosts. We stayed in the King room which was spacious with a huge and very comfortable bed. The en suite was large and everywhere was very clean. The room had an outside deck which overlooked the water. Couldn't have wished for a better view. The B&B itself is near several lovely beaches and there were 1 or 2 restaurants nearby. We were playing golf at the Cabot courses which were about a 35 minute drive away. I would thoroughly recommend this B&B

One of our very best B&B experiences ever. Shelley and Clarke are just as warm as can be, the room was large, beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, with great views. And breakfast was outstanding, with personal service and warm conversation. Our hosts gave us some great guidance on local hikes, and know the area well. This is just about as good as it gets anywhere!
