My daughter and I stayed at the Cove Motel for Sept 1st for the Meghan Trainor concert. It was the only place I could get and was a bit nervous as I know it had been there for many years. We were pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was clean and the food was delicious in the restaurant... More

We love this place. The accommodations, food and service are excellent. The people are so friendly and attentive. We stay whenever we have the opportunity. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the on site restaurant menu has an emphasis on fresh local seafood but includes a wide variety of other choices as well. The setting is spectacular no matter... More

Very nice property - though it's old it's kept up very well. We stayed in one of the cabins and had a wonderful time. They're small but quaint . The Dining Room is beautiful - good food and very friendly service.

I contacted The Cove Motel a couple of days before our stay to request a pet-friendly accommodation for one night. They were not only able to meet that request, but they also allowed us to arrive after normal check-in hours. We stayed in one of the cabins (the pet-friendly accommodations) and it was clean and comfortable. If we hadn't been... More

The property is just beautiful and our dinner at the restaurant was fantastic! Overlooks the Canso Bay and Cape Breton island. Several seafood options to select from on menu. We would definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant!

Cottage was very outdated & roof sounded like it was collapsing when you walked across the floor. Lighting was very dim. However, the cottage was very clean & the beds were comfortable. I hope the rooms were much better.

This was a great lodging and dining experience. Our cabin was a little dated with full wood interior that gave a glimpse of how things were before chain motels. Remember a bottle of wine to share in the setting sun while looking at amazing views. The restaraunt had great views and felt like fine dining. Both lodging and food was... More

A lovely rustic motel room with all the needed amenities. We arrived later in the evening and we were happy to see the diner was open. We were so lucky to come across this gem. The meal was fabulous! The seafood chowder was delicious as well as the seafood casserole. The desserts were out of this world especially the strawberry... More

Clean quaint hotel rooms in a beautiful location. Fabulous view, rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, staff was friendly. Could not enjoy the water view as much at night due to strobe lights on nearby power lines but during the daylight beautiful.

This was a lunch stop for a chartered tour with 45 people. This was a great location to stop on the way to the Highlands. Excellent food, great service - fast and efficient. The best seafood chowder I've had yet and good lobster roll. Nice gift shop. Also looks like a nice place to stay.
