We never miss an opportunity to stay at Riverview Cottages when we visit Parrsboro. The cabins are cozy and rustic--the perfect getaway from the city. The cabins with kitchens have enough amenities to rustle up a meal for the family. For those not inclined to cook, the town of Parrsboro has lots of nice little eateries. The property has a...

fortunately managed to get one of sandras' cottages for a night as we passed through town back to basics, no email or internet but had a ball. cottage was fine for 2 of us, had a fridge and was 'rustic' stocked up on beers and food and had a great picnic before bed and simply sat and read a book...

The cottage we stayed at had a wood stove, although we didn't use it. The cabin was very rustic and basic, but it was very clean and tidy. The bed was a bit sproingy, but the blankets were warm and cozy. No complaints, and a perfect place for a cheap getaway. It was a great change from the Bed &...

We spent our five days in Parrsboro in one of Sandra and Richard's cottages. We stayed in cottage # 17. It is one of their larger cottages with a full size fridge and stove. It also had a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and all the dishes and pots you will need. The cottage was nicely finished and very tidy. This...

I knew these places were going to be rustic, I knew quiet time was 11pm but really!!?? We were in town for the not since Moses, had most of your cabins booked that weekend, don't dare make a whisper after 11pm tho, no fires, no, no, no! Felt like I was a kid again thanks but no thanks, and yes...

It had everything we needed. However a fan is essential in summer. We did need it. Bed was not comfy. Might have been nice to have a tv with dvds-we aren't asking for cable. Bring your own shampoo, etc. The place was spotless, though. Easy walk to downtown. I think it was a bit over-priced.

These cute quaint cottages were perfect to meet our needs on our recent trip through Nova Scotia. We love having use of a kitchen, and it was well stocked. I even appreciate that they cover the silverware tray with Saran to keep clean. The owners were so kind to even send my sandals I'd left behind in the mail. Highly...

Loved the tiny cottage with the antique iron beds and the well appointed Kitchenette. The setting is lovely and the staff were very helpful. There is no TV or air-conditioning but it was not missed! It is a very quiet setting within a short drive of the village of Parrsboro.

My husband and I were touring the beautiful Glooscap Trail from Masstown to Advocate Harbour and decided to spend the night in Parrsboro. The Riverview Cottages caught our eye as we arrived in the village and we were able to stay in Cottage #6, the Iona. The rustic charm of the cottage and the wonderful, friendly owner, Sandra, made our...

Loved the place. My parents honeymooned there 62 years ago, and we have stayed several times in the past. However, this time we stayed for a week. Peaceful, homey and comfortable accommodations. Owner so helpful and charming. I would recommend the cabins over any hotel. Private and beautiful location. Already made reservations for next year. Thank you so much.
