We spent two nights there in September 2016. The bed and breakfast is located in an old house which is spotless, comfortable and interesting with period furnishings. The breakfasts are absolutely wonderful with the host creating wonderful pastries, plus whatever else you might expect for breakfast. Host is very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful b&b. Clean, bright, room-comfortable bed. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Good coffee. The atmosphere was so warm and friendly. We would stay here again if we ever visit again. Even in the offseason Louisbourg was a fun place to visit and this b&b added to the enjoyment.

This lovely inn, formerly a parsonage, was lovingly restored by Parker and his wife. The rooms are large, comfortable and beautifully-appointed. A breakfast of eggs Benedict was included in the stay. Importantly, there are ground level rooms semi-accessible with only six steps to enter the house. The Louisbourg Fortress, definitely worth a view, is only kilometers away.

Louisbourgh is not a large population area. Their "season" is the first of June to Labor Day ( first weekend in September), so I had very low expectations. This B&B was lovely, the breakfasts delicious and the Innkeeper and his staff friendly and helpful. We were relaxed and comfortable and enjoyed the area. The recommendations made by John were spot...

My husband and I wanted to visit the Fortress of Louisbourg and decided to book a room for two nights at the Louisbourg Heritage House bed & breakfast. We were very happy with our decision. The room was very clean and had a balcony. Breakfast was served in the sister property, Louisbourg Harbour Inn, just a block away. The breakfast...

We had a wonderful experience at the Heritage House. We had a King size bed, which is rare in a B&B, but we are not small people so it is important to us. We were on the third floor - the ENTIRE third floor. Great little cozy spots to read and a lot of windows to bring in light and...

Beautifully maintained & decorated historic house. Room was spacious with a comfortable bed & a gracious host. Superb breakfast of peach popover with blueberry compote. Located near the Louisbourg fortress.

On the eighth night of our couples two week Canadian Maritime B&B extravaganza, we booked two rooms at the Louisbourg Heritage House. We arrived before Noon and stopped at the sister Louisbourg Harbor Inn where the owner resides to see if there was a possibility of an early check-in before spending the afternoon at the National Historic Site. We were...

We arrived tired and weary from a long road trip to be welcomed by this lovely property and its comfortable, impeccably clean rooms, each with access to an individual outdoor porch. The lounge is an inviting place to spend some time in, adding to the lovely maritime puzzle sitting half-finished on the side table tempting you to add just a...

On arrival we were given a warm welcome by Parker, the owner. He recommended local restaurants and attractions worth visiting. We stayed in the Arnold room which was very spacious with a comfortable kingsize bed. The bathroom was also a good size. The room had it's own entrance from outside as well as one from inside. There was also a...
