The rooms are 1970ish. Right down to the carpet and tube TV. Windows are single slider so considerable highway noise in our room. They could use some comfy mattresses like at the Coastal Inn, Antigonish! Self serve continental breakfast was not being monitored or restocked. We had to go get our own water for tea.

Great location, paint needed, BBQ's need to be replaced. Lots of potential , maintenance required.Rooms were clean. Needs some TLC. I was here in the first week in August, they were busy, could have used more staff.

It was ok for a place to stay in Ingonish. Rooms were a little musty smelling and the complimentary breakfast was awful. Cute little pub with live local music. Otherwise it made a good stopover for our family while on the trails but I wouldn't come back here again.

King suite room 412 was nice for our family of 5. King bed, pull-out sofa double bed, jacuzzi tub. Room was clean. Breakfast is not much: Orange Juice, Apple Juice, coffee, milk, toast, muffins, corn flakes, fruit loops. We also traveled with another family, who had the 2 Queen suite room 420 for their family of 5. Their room had...

We thought we booked a nice hotel because of what was in the hotel description of the website I used. I should have checked TripAdvisor reviews... We were very disappointed and just had the feeling to throw away our money. Note that our room was old-styled and would need a refresh, TVs are from 80s...

Our family has gone to Ingonish for years and this always used to be one of the nicest places. It has changed ownership and is really getting run down. It has gone from luxury beach resort to smelly motel. Not even a fruit to be found for breakfast let alone the gorgeous oatmeal of old.

This place is a dump! The rooms are full of bugs, actually crawling on you while you sleep. My husband picked a bug off of me and i picked several off of him. I sat in a chair most of the night ,the smell was horrible. The air conditioner broke. Paint peeling off the walls, dirt everywhere. No ice mavhine,...

We stayed here August 7th 2016, upon arrival we were very disappointed to see such a run down hotel. Our bathroom tub had numerous cracks, the floor was dirty, the beds were horrendous. We had booked a room for 4 and there were not enough towels for all. The service was poor and unacceptable. Would not recommend to anyone.

When I checked out the place on the Nova Scotia Tourism site it looked nice but when I got there and was registering I started to get really bad feelings. The office was dirty, the office area messy, the floor was littered with bit's of paper and dirt. Our room was probably really nice 50 or so years ago but...

We recently stayed at your “Beach Resort” and would not normally write in comments but after this most recent trip we thought we should. We have stayed there at different times in previous years which was good and was also under different management. However, this most recent visit was by far our worst experience at the Glenghorm, or any hotel/motel...
