I stayed for one night and found the room to be very clean, with nice décor. The owners were very nice and breakfast was made to order ...eggs any style with bacon and toast. The location was in a quite valley with mountain views in every direction

We both loved this property and the uniqueness of the building. It was built in the 1930's by the owners father and the interior was enhanced over the following years. Our host were great and the location in the country was very peaceful. Very filling and enjoyable breakfast.

The interior, exterior and surroundings of the home were gorgeous. Beautiful wood all over the inside of the home. It was raining when we arrived and we only had one night there, so unfortunately, we didn't get to explore the grounds, which were beautiful. The breakfast was sufficient with eggs, cereal, etc. However, there is NO WHERE to eat in...

Enjoyed our stay. Remote and quiet area. Beautiful grounds, clean rooms with tv and private bathroom, screened in porch was enjoyable in the evening. A nice breakfast. Hansel had a great sense of humor. Not a lot of options for restaurants. Be sure to visit and walk the trail at near by White Point.

Driving up to Oakwood Manor you just know it's in the most peaceful, beautiful setting ever. There is an extensive garden / orchard area which is cut then you can follow paths in the meadows around and explore. We saw more birds here than in any other place in Nova Scotia! Our room was very clean and super comfy, and...

Beautiful area that this house is located in. Quiet at the end of a country road and walking trails exist. We stayed in the suite which was nice but could use an update. A comfortable outdoor sitting area on the deck would be nice. The room was clean enough but the bathroom needed some love and care around the soap...

We enjoyed our one night stay at the Oakwood manor. The room and the house was clean and of good size and had a satellite TV as well as a beautiful view of the mountains and trees. Bathroom was clean and well stocked. The owner was friendly and served a nice eggs and bacon/sausage breakfast. It was well placed just...

We had the suite and it was comfortable, clean, attractive - we couldn't have asked for a better setting. The B&B is off the main road, leaving you with a very pastoral surrounding - just perfect we thought. The establishment is lovely in its own right: real barns that are well looked after and a house that speaks to the...

We stayed for 2 nights in this great B&B. The setting is a nicely kept up farmhouse that the owners father built. We were in The Suite which was very nice with a deck and comfortable accommodations. We happened to be visiting the area during the Celtic Colours Festival on Cape Breton and there is a beautiful hill behind the...
