Stayed 3 nights, and would go back in a heartbeat! One of the cleanest places we've ever stayed, and it had everything we needed; we just brought our groceries! Walking trails, beautiful view. Owner walked us to our chalet and explained how everything worked, and made sure that we had everything we needed. Each unit has their own deck, with... More

Not fancy but very clean and well equipped. Friendly owner. Good value. Plenty of space, in a nice setting. We stayed just one night and it was rainy, but I would like to have tried the walking trails laid out you the owner(formerly for Segways but that's been discontinued). Just a short drive to the AG Bell Historic site.

Stayed for 3 nights Aug 2015 as a couple with a baby. Overall, extremely clean and well kept accommodations with a well stocked kitchen (with the basics). I would definitely consider returning. Stayed in a one bedroom unit in the middle of a four unit building Note that the rate Roland quoted me ended up being batter than anything online... More

Our "chalet" was very adequate for our needs. The place was clean and wifi worked well. The bed was two singles pushed together which were not extremely comfortable. However, the beautiful surroundings, wild flowers, and walking trails were lovely and I would stay at this place again in a heartbeat! Quiet and lovely and a nice place to stay along... More

So nice to find such pet friendly accommodations. The 1 Bdrm units have a private, fully fenced deck; perfect for pooches, and enough open space that my dog ran free on the property during our stay. Love that all kitchen items are provided. With use of bbq and full size fridge, microwave, etc you have everything you need!! Really nice... More

Roland is really welcoming host who helps you where he can. Hunter mountain chalets are not the most hip chalets but affordable and on a really nice place on the island. The beds are good and in the chalets you can not hear your neighbors.

Very pleasant area, we had a nice stay there. I have been going for couple of times but still like to stay here, even though self catering option. So many trails around this chalet. Prices are nominal. So clean, Serene. Wish to go here again..wow

Hunter mountain Chalets is a family run business and we have been going back for years. Very clean cabins on a large property overlooking the Baddeck area. Owners are very friendly and keep the property in top shape. Restaurants and shops are about 15 minutes away in town of Baddeck. Cabins have a great outdoor deck with table and chairs... More

Property is lovely with lots of walking paths. Host very pleasant and helpful. Chalet was clean but we found the bed very uncomfortable and neither my husband or I slept very well. I think it's a little over priced but the location is great for the Cabot Trail.
