We were guests at a wedding at the Inverary resort on thanksgiving weekend. The lakeside setting for the wedding was gorgeous with the fall colours in the background and the beautiful flowers still in bloom on the resort grounds. The resort is very large with a variety of two story blocks of rooms scattered around the property. We stayed in...

This was our fourth visit here and we were very disappointed. Our check him with Doug was fabulous. He worked very hard to get us a room he hoped we would enjoy. Unfortunately the trip went down from there. What was classified as a king suite was just a big room broken into two. The bedroom section was very small...

This resort is doing some renovations in some parts of the property but they need to improve their rooms in the Campbell house as it is in need of fixes especially the bed frame which I had to take a wooden cloth hanger from their closet and use it to level the box spring and mattress, the frame itself is...

We stayed in the Main Lodge. It was a great room quite big with a king size bed. A mini fridge was included. We had a little veranda with chairs to sit outside on a beautiful day. They had a pool and hot tub inside and a fitness centre, and a hot tub outside. Lots of places to stay including...

Tiny room, dated furnishings and tiny, grainy tv. Was allocated a room on the second floor in "the barn", having happily stayed in the past in the main lodge. No offer of help with my bags, no elevator. Next time if assigned anywhere but the main lodge I will stay elsewhere.

We were not staying at the resort but did visit for the evenings entertainment and a meal. The entertainment was listed at the information office to start at 19.00hrs but when we arrived we were told it would be after 21,00hrs. There were two items listed as vegetarian starters but nothing for main meals.. We did ask but were told...

Ok. This place so reminded me of the dirty dancing resort. A bit retro in styling but good service from check in to check out. Only downside was there were not enough plugs in the room and they were all hidden. But that is first world problems when this place was built before the Internet.

Celtic colours festival. Atmosphere was fun with music at the pub. The locals were very friendly giving us pointers of where to eat on the trail Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The town of Baddeck is a five minute walk. And then a ten minute walk around the town. Lots of great little shops to stop and browse...

We had 2 small dogs with us and were offered a room in a fourplex building. Roomy and comfortable but was quite dated., particularly the washroom (70's). In need a a new vanity and varnish. We were very pleased with where we were situated on the property and took advantage of the landmass to walk the dogs. The night was...

We paid for the last room available in this 180 plus room/cottage complex. We had a basement cottage with two bedrooms, a kitchenette and living room. Our party of four was less than enamoured with the room but as it was late and we were tired we decided to stay even after seeing the room. It was well worn, with...
