Our king suite in the main Lodge was elegantly appointed, spotless and a pleasure to relax in. Our outside access to a small covered portico ( room 105) was a fabulous bonus. Grounds were well appointed and roads easily signed. Doug's professional advice prior to booking was helpful and contributed to us selecting this property. Check in with him and...

Multiple buildings on this property which is large. We were in one of the outer buildings. The rooms are very basic and furnished similar to a Motel 6 without any charm. Food at their restaurant was similarly very simple and really nothing special about it. Given the lovely location of Baddeck we were disappointed that the resort really failed to...

Nicely manicured property offers lakeside views. Depending on which property you have room, it could be a dated motel-like lodging. Older TV and In-room A/C unit maybe noisy (though true, you didnt come here to stay indoors and watch TV all day). Pricey on-the-premises restaurant. It is a decent/ok place to stay to get yourself ready for, or after Cape...

We stayed here for two nights. The room was clean but the heater/air conditioner was really noisy...breakfast was grab and go in the morning but was just fruit slices and muffins and some yogurt with oatmeal on top..really disappointing...went to Tims on the highway...the pub was fun, music was good but the food was awful...ordered fish and chips...fish was tough..chips...

This was a highlight on our Nova Scotia adventure. A very well maintained property on the water. You could walk into the village, which was great. We stayed in one of the larger suite rooms, and although the decor was dated, it was clean and in good condition. The veranda around the building with the water view was a great...

My husband and I spent our honeymoon here. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Very relaxing, clean comfortable room, beautiful grounds, friendly staff . The pub on site is great. Wonderful place to unwind. Can't wait to go back.

I stayed here in the fall of this year. The customer service was excellent, the pub food for lunch and dinner was excellent and the bed was comfortable. However, the breakfast was awful. The only other downside was the area surrounding the resort. On one side was a factory plant??? and on the other side of the resort was an...

Stayed here for one night in Sept.Very nice main lodge and property when you pull in.Good service at front desk.Got our rooms on second floor looking at the water but once in the rooms they had very old and warn carpeting, old furniture, curtains and a 70's feel to the whole room.Rooms were clean though and everything worked so they were quite...

This resort is very nice, with beautiful well manicured grounds and in a good location in Cape Breton, with a town nearby so one can walk to some shops and restaurants. Our room was large and well appointed with a nice size bathroom. Plenty of parking and many activities available for additional cost. We rented a small boat to go...
