Where to even begin… We arrived to the Driftwood Park Retreat in the afternoon after a drive from Halifax. We had called during our drive to make sure that we were headed in the right direction as our GPS kept losing connection on our phone. Su was super friendly, but we knew how wonderful she is from when we booked...

We had an excellent stay here - the chalet was perfect for our family. John and Su' were wonderful hosts. The chalet was clean, conveniently laid-out, well stocked and just perfect for staying in Advocate Harbour which is incredible remote. We came to this corner of the province for two main reasons - the kayaking and Wild Caraway. Staying at...

Excellent location for a fun visit to the area. Facilities are very clean and well maintained. Every cottage sleeps 4 comfortably. Right on the beach so you can hear/see the ocean. A great place to stay - second time we've stayed here.

We spent our last 2 nights in NS here. It did not disappoint as it was on a par with the other wonderful inns/lodges we had stayed at the previous 2 weeks or so. Very helpful hosts. The accommodation was everything that was promised. The weather was not too good but we were able to relax and enjoy the area...

We picked Advocate Harbour as the location from which to take our kayaking trip, and fell upon this gem. Great location, with absolutely breathtaking views. The chalets are large, clean and well appointed. The owners, John and Su', were friendly and most accommodating. I only wish we stayed longer then the two nights!

We rented 2 chalets (57 and 59) for our return visit to Driftwood Park. This time we brought along my parents to help them celebrate their 47th wedding anniversary. We felt like we were home immediately upon our arrival. John and Su' knew who we were and welcomed us back. The cottages are completely well stocked with everything you would...

The Driftwood Chalets were a wonderful find, well equipped, comfortable, roomy and in great location John and Su' , the owners, were very friendly and welcoming. Cape D'Or was very close and a highlight in the area, although it was hard to pick any one place as all areas outstanding.

These chalets are spacious and have full amenities, including satellite TV, however when you are in a beautiful setting like this who needs TV! There is no Internet service in the chalets, however this is a minor inconvenience. Wi-Fi is available in the office. Advocate Harbour a pretty little community and boastsone of the finest restaurants you'll find anywhere, and...

We were lucky to be able to get one night here on short notice. Our chalet was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a family of four. It was nice to be able to cook our own dinner. Our hosts, Su and John, were very welcoming. The location was fantastic, right on the beach. Of all the beaches...
