My family and I stayed at the Campbell House in the Artisan Inn complex. I appreciated the extensive information provided by Judy at the check in. The room we were in was on the second floor of the Campbell House which had an adjoining bathroom across the hall. Lovely room which harkened back to the turn of 20th century, with... More

Beautiful Inn. Stayed at Campbell House just a few steps from the main office. Judy at reception gave us such a warm welcome and full of info of the area. Campbell House is from 1885 so feels like going back in time. Dinner at the Twine was amazing and recommend the Skerwink Trail. Quaint town and wonderful view outside to... More

Trinity is one of those magical places where history and sense of place are captured for all to enjoy. We found Trinity and the Artisan Inn truly captivating and wished that we could spent more time in this enchanted place. The Inn, really a collection of cottages is one woman's dream and commitment to preserve place. We stayed in the... More

We stayed in the Campbell house for two nights during a recent trip to Newfoundland. The room was quaint and charming, bed was comfortable, the hotel is very well run we found the people very friendly and helpful. Ate at the Twine Loft restaurant, its a set meal with two choices for a main, a little expensive but great food.... More

My sister and I had the pleasure of staying in the Campbell House for 2 nights on our trip through Newfoundland. It was unfortunate that we were there right before the tourist season began (end of April, beginning of May) so everything was still closed for the season, but that did not take away from the quaint, beautiful town and... This review is long overdue, but better late than never! We stayed at one of the Artisan Inn properties, Campbell House, because we needed to accommodate our family of 3 in one room, at an affordable price. We had a double bed and at the other end of the room was a twin sized bed set against the window, for... More

My 25 year old daughter and I shared a room in the Campbell House. it was wonderful. I slept soundly all four nights in my big four poster bed and my daughter loved her window bed - snuggled right down in there. We met another mother/daughter traveling team who stayed one night while we were there and that was a... More

We stayed at the Lighthouse view and found it very quiet and the room contained a large bathroom.Breakfast Included freshly baked muffins and dinners were healthy and very tasty. Drinks on the deck at happy hour were idyllic. But Tineke Gow excelled at suggesting tourist activities, ie.theatre, Sherwink trail, Gun trail above the bank, town historical walks, boat tours, and... More

We stayed in the Campbell House - very nice. The staff at the Artisan Inn are absolutely the best. They are very informative and helpful. We had to re-plan our trip on the fly after our flight got messed up and they assisted us in getting accommodations, made phone calls for us and were just extremely helpful - that was... More

We stayed 2 nights in the Campbell House, one of several houses that comprise the Artisan Inn and Twine Loft Restaurant. Tineke Gow has made the historic and modern come together. Our house lodging, both the room and common areas were beautifully decorated but functional. We reserved for dinner at the late sitting and enjoyed fresh locally sourced 3 course... More
