Guests are picked up by zodiac from Quirpon. The trip to Quirpon Island mat take - d depending on the weather - between 5 and 20 minutes. From the drop off point it is either a 5 minute or a 5 km walk to the Inn. Very friendly staff. Ten rooms, five in the main house. Dinner, breakfast and lunch...

A lovely place to be. Warm and friendly host en staff. Ideal for hiking, iceberg and whalewatching. Very good guided zodiac tours. Diner and breakfast together with all other guests: great opportunity to meet likeminded people. Good food.

If you want to have something really special go to the Quirpon Lighthouse Inn at Quipon Island. Take your time and stay for more than one night to enjoy the friendliness and hospitalty of the whole staff. We had booked our lighthouse stay months in advance, our $50 deposit cashed ages ago, and yet- a huge disappointment. We waited on the dock, as we had been instructed to do. After an hour or so, a women drove up and said "Ed was too busy, your not going". No apology, no suggestion of where we might stay the...

This was the most amazing thing I ever did for myself. I can't wait to return, but there are some things you should know that may help you decide for yourself if this is the right place for you: Google Quirpon, so you have an understanding of where in NFL the island is. You can fly into Deer Lake and...

Our first trip to Newfoundland. The place, host & food are great. As everyone has the same meal times over the meal table, friendships are made. Chats can go on after meals, yet privacy is also there. Will visit the place again if there is a chance.

I drove 28 hours from Boston to stay here and take images of the icebergs that float by the Inn. In fact I'm still here as I've extended my visit by a few days.. The women that run the place are amazing and the men who help load your luggage and get you to the inn are SO great !!...

Ed picked us up at the dock and before we were settled in his boat, he had shared a number of wonderful stories about the surrounding area. As we rounded the island, we came upon a massive iceberg which was several acres in size. He slowed down to allow some great photo opportunities and then we continued to the light...

We were met by Ed and the quay who transported us and another couple on the Zodiac. On our journey to the lighthouse we met up with 3 separate pods of dolphins which was just amazing. Our luggage was taken up to the main building by an ATV whilst the 4 of us walked along the path and enjoyed the...

I read a number of the more negative reviews about this Inn and they certainly confirmed my feeling that many of the TA reviews are subjective. We had an amazing time at this place. Ed (owner) and staff looked after us very, very well with excellent food and spectacular activities. The whale watching was terrific; the kayaking was wonderful with...
