We had a couple of extra travel days on the west coast of Newfoundland and we searched for another area to visit. Jeannie had one night available for us - the only downside to this is it wasn't for the 2 nights! I can not say enough about this very kind and generous lady. The room was very comfortable and...

We stayed here for one night as a midpoint between St. Anthony and Deer Lake airport. Port au Choix is about an 1.5 hour drive from Rocky Harbor. It is 13 km off the main road(Viking Highway). Jeannie has lived in the area all her life. She greeted us heartily and welcomed us into her home. Our room (Room 3)...

Jeannie met us at the door and overwhelmed us with her cheery personality. The room was spotless and had a common sitting area with a computer desk and TV. The WiFi worked well. The wonderful breakfast featured Jeannie's homemade bread and many homemade jams as well as other items from a prepared breakfast menu. We would highly recommend Jeannie's Sunrise...

We stayed 2 nights with Jeannie. Jeannie is a pro after close to 20 years in the business at making guests feel at home. We had a small cozy room the first night that met our needs but accepted her offer to move us to a larger room that became available for the 2nd night. Breakfast was several choices that...

Yet another bed and breakfast that embodies the friendly hospitality of Newfoundland. Our host Jeannie was extremely friendly and easy to talk with. Breakfast was always tasty with plenty of options to satisfy all. She even had homemade gluten free bread. Lots of homemade jams to try as well and all were really good. Our room was more than large...

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast. Jeannie is very welcoming. Home is spotless and very comfortable. She serves a great breakfast with homemade breads and jams. She even makes her own Gluten free bread and gladly gave me the recipe. Would definitely recommend this B & B.

We stayed at Jeannie's for one night in June. We had a downstairs room (#2) which was spacious and neatly decorated. Breakfast was delicious and Jeannie was a wonderful host who made us most welcome in her home. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to enjoy the area, even thought the B&B would have been conveniently located for the...

After a blustery day on the road, we were so glad to be home and that is just how it felt being welcomed into Jeannie's Sunrise Bed and Breakfast. We prevailed and toured some of the local sites in the pelting rain, always returning to a warm and welcome place. Our bed fresh and cosy. The environment friendly and welcoming...

Jeannie is the perfect example of eastern hospitality. A wonderful bnb and great breakfast. One of the best accommodations on our trip! Very, very clean, and a beautiful home renovated for b&b. Port aux Choix is a very interesting g area and shouldn't be missed on your drive to or from St. Anthony.

Thank Cheryl F
