The hotel staff were pleasent. Shower was hot. Bed was comfy. Room was clean. We stayed in January and were unable to sleep because the heat was uncontrollable. Outside temps was about -30C, so the room quickly cooled off. When we turned on the heat, it would become way too hot - would get sweaty just layin on the bed....

During our trip to the Northern Peninsula we decided to take the Ferry to Labrador. On our return we needed a place to spend the night before boarding the morning ferry back to Newfoundland. We were recommended to the Northern Lights Inn. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The restaurant provided good food at reasonable...

By this point in my trip, I stayed in 4 inns/motels and none of them felt as great as this place, but I thought it as going to be the worst place to stay at, based on what people told me of this part of NL. This part of NL (Labrador) is supposed to be barren, but that doesn't apply...

I wasn't sure what to expect given some reviews but our experience was very positive. The room was large, clean, had comfortable beds, was quiet throughout the night, warm (the temperature dropped that night). There was also a fridge, microwave and a TV with many channels. Proximity to the ferry is great. We had an excellent breakfast very early in...

This is not a modern hotel but then you must consider that you are in Labrador. There is beautiful scenery but you don't have to contend with the crowds found in most tourist locations. We stayed for two nights in this hotel. We found our room clean and comfortable but not modern. On our first night the power went out...

Thank you for your review and for staying at our establishment. We must apologize that your stay was during a night that several - extremely rare - incidents took place. To begin, our staff did make efforts to lower the noise level during the wedding by asking the party - several times - to lower the music and end earlier....

This was not a destination but merely a stopover. Friendly staff and very accommodating. The room was reasonably large and everything worked. The room has a mini-fridge and microwave. I would definitely recommend this motel!
