Our second visit to Rothesay with our gracious hosts, George and Lynn. Amazing accommodations, food, grounds, and best of our, sitting on the veranda with our hosts sharing stories and having many many laughs. Highly recommended!!!

Great central location in a genuine Newfoundland fishing town. Beautiful, well kept historical house inside and outside. Nice clean room. Yummy breakfast. Excellent hosts. Without George's directions and map we would have missed much of what made our exploration of the Baccalieu Trail so wonderful. Thanks!

George and Lynn Butler are wonderful hosts. Lynn is an excellent cook. Our meal the evening we arrived was wonderful. Breakfast both mornings we were there was delicious. I loved the beeless honey and homemade jams. The food was well worth going off my diet. George is a great wealth of information about Harbor Grace and the places to go...

My Mom and I just completed a week long tour of Eastern Newfoundland, tracing the roots of our ancestors and luckily, this brought us to stay at Rothesay House in Harbour Grace. We met many warm, kind people during our travels but George and Lynn were right up at the top of the list - and their beautiful home added...

In travelling all over Newfoundland this summer, our weekend stop at the Rothesay Inn B +B was our highlight! The beautiful and historical inn's charming rooms were spotless, delightful and comfy...loved the décor throughout! And the innkeepers George and Lynn were absolutely the best part ....friendly, fun and helpful in making our Newfoundland experience memorable ones. And the best food...

Newfoundland is well known for its friendly hospitality, and there is none better than George and Lynn who looked after our every need from a scrumptious breakfast in the morning to a feast at dinner. George was very helpful in guiding us around the local spots to see, while Lynn performed her magic in the kitchen. Loved the evenings chatting...

The greatest reward we as B&B Innkeepers experience is the genuine friendship, warmth and almost immediate camaraderie and familiarity with our guests. To our ''newfound'' friends from far away New Zealand we say a sincere '' kia ora'' for choosing to stay with us and sharing life experiences. May the wind always be at your back!

I stayed at Rothesay House, in Harbour Grace for a week at the end of July 2016. It became my home away from home. George is a gracious front of house host. He greeted me each morning with a cup of righteous coffee. With Lynn in the kitchen preparing a hearty breakfast, with local ingredients incorporated, they make a great...

What a wonderful place to stay. George and Lynn made us feel right at home, even buying us an anniversary card for our celebration meal that we had at their house. Excellent supper. The night we arrived George sat us down explaining options of things to do in the harbour grace area. It was very helpful. George's sense of humour...

Had a wonderful time! A very engaging, fun couple running a great B&B. Rothesay House is located in an historically significant region of the province and the house itself is mid-19th C. It's beautifully decorated. They serve dinner on request (it was excellent) and a terrific breakfast. Highly recommended.
