The 2 bedroom cabins leave a lot to be desired. The one bedroom units are much nicer. The 2 bedroom cabins are in need of updating, the beds are not the best and the couches are poor. The cabins are small but they do the trick. They are clean and that is high on my priority list. I gave it...

Great service. It was difficult to select one thing from the menu, it all sounded delicious especially the dishes that included local ingredients. I finally selected the seafood chowder and it was piping hot with lots of seafood and plenty of flavor! The server was very attentive, and made sure we had everything to enjoy our dining experience.

We stayed four nights in one of the Seaview Cabins. It had two bedrooms with a kitchen and small sitting area. It was somewhat disappointing as a number of items needed replacing. To start with the couch was so badly used that you practically fell through to the floor when you sat on it. The window coverings in one of...

We had an incredible day fishing on the Pinware River with our guide (and his grandson who walked in a lunch of fresh cod, home made bread and partridgeberry jam for a traditional boil up. Then we went back to the Seaview Restaurant where the ladies cooked our salmon for a meal so tasty that I was purring. I only...

I stayed here on a Sunday night in late May 2016 in the middle of a long drive with my father on the Trans-Labrador Highway. After nearly a week of sharing small hotel rooms we were very happy to have two bedrooms, and having a stove and fully supplied kitchen rather than just a microwave made cooking dinner for ourselves...

I stayed at the Lanse Amour Lighthouse guest house one night last week while travelling through the area on business. All accommodations in the town were full due to construction in the area. The guest house at the light house is approx. 10 klms from the town of Forteau and sits in the shadow of a historical lighthouse that is...

We spent two nights end of August and our feeling is split in two parts. The first one concerns the cabin itself. It was clean with a good heating system, a kitchen well equipped and a bedroom and bathroom of a good size. Unfortunately, our suite was on the basement and not on the upper floor which presented two inconvenient....

I HAD a reservation with this place, until the owner emailed me saying that he couldn't honor it. I called, only to find out that a big hydroelectric project had come to town and taken up all his rooms. He had to drop some EXISTING reservations to accommodate the longer-term business, and mine was one of them. This is disgraceful...

I made a reservation 3 months in advance of my trip to Labrador. Received an email 2 weeks before the trip letting me know that he would not honor my reservation because of some long term rentals. I am not sure what cause the overbooking but I have never experienced this before. In the email I was advised with some...

This is a very adequate place to stay. We took the afternoon ferry and then had an easy drive to the Seaview. We went to the restaurant for the key, then went back for dinner. They were out of chowder so ordered other things from the menu. Not so good! However, we had breakfast there the next morning and it...
