A large group of us (30) stayed here for a couple rainy nights in early spring. We were all pleasantly surprised by the overall cleanliness of the place. From the outside this appears to be a fairly old inn, but the rooms are actually quite nice and more modern. Great locations close to groceries and restaurants too. Would definitely stay...

My wife and I recently took a vacation and explored the North end of Vancouver Island. We're seasoned travelers who were looking for something different. We booked online with the Haida Way Motor Inn and didn't expect much from a small town Inn. Boy were we shocked with what we experienced. Staff were as friendly and helpful as one would...

From the photos and too, by looking at this hotel from the street, it doesn't look like much but I was pleasantly surprised. Oh, at first as I walked down cement block style walls I thought I was going through a college dormitory and I felt certain that the room would be in keeping with that, but to my surprise...

We stayed for two nights. The front desk staff was very helpful by providing a suggestion how best to see Alert Bay on Cormorant Island and Sointula on Malcolm Island in one day. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and was very good. Supper at the pub and service was very good.

Some compressor kept me up for a long time. Rooms were outdated. Interior looked like a prison cell. Nice location near harbour Port McNeill. Breakfast was nothing special. I would say just about ok for one night.

This Motor Inn does just what it says on the tin ! Its handy to the harbour and basic amenities like supermarket and off licence as well as being clean and practical. It has a big bar area with wide screens and the Restaurant is sound..... if a little austere in decor. The food is pretty good especially the deserts...

This hotel has not been updated since 1952 or so. The room smelled and the bed looked like it hadn't been made. Our room overlooked the parking lot with a view of the bar. The window was opened to let in some fresh air but there was no screen. There are not many choices in Port McNeill so try and...

We wanted to visit Telegraph Cove and found that Port McNeill was the most convenient available option. We chose Haida Way because there were only a few options left and because it was only slightly over our budget - everything in that area seems to be overpriced in the summer season. It is a straightforward average motel. WiFi was ok,...

Really enjoyed our stay, comfortable room, great continental breakfast. We were leaving too early for breakfast our first morning, and nice girl at desk offered to pack up a "to go" the night before. The only problem was that bed too soft in middle.
