I have stayed at Rock Island a few times now, but keep forgetting to do a review! I keep going back because it's so beautiful there and the welcome so warm from the amazing hosts Bill & Susan. The cabins are set in mature trees just a step or two away from the edge of Arrow Lake, there are mountains...

We love the yurt! It is our first time staying at the Rock Island Resort and we hope to be back. The yurt provided us with an amazing home base. We could go to the hot springs if we wanted...or hang out at the yurt to relax, cook in, read at or just sit on the deck and look at...

My husband had to travel to Nakusp for work and decided to bring the family to Rock Island instead of staying in a hotel. Best decision he made! The fall/winter rates are comparable to a hotel room except you get sooo much more! We had our own cabin on the water with a fully equipped kitchen, bbq, cable, internet and...

My ex bf first brought me up to Rock Island Resort to meet his family a few years ago. We brought our dogs and I'm pretty sure it was the highlight of my labs life. He spent the entire time in the lake swimming or standing in the lake waiting for us to watch him swim. The cabins were great...

What an amazing getaway! Our 100lb lab cross traveling companion was in heaven with the roomy accommodation, leash optional rule and endless beach. Beautiful views, great price, complete serenity! The full kitchen and bbq provided made it easy to prepare meals.

Rock Island Resort is a PERFECT place to "get away from it all" and yet be relatively close to plenty of activities i.e. Nakusp, several Hot Springs, outdoor adventure, etc. The cabin is very spacious, bright, clean and provides you with all you need for your stay. Fabulous deck and seating area with a peaceful/tranquil view of the lake. An...

We wanted to take a time away from the hustle and bustle of the world. This resort certainly provided us with that. Our cabin was clean, comfortable and stocked with anything you would need for a few days away from home. It had a lovely view of the lake. Our hosts Bill and Sue were very friendly. Sue is a...

The cabin has everything you need with a full kitchen, satellite and Internet. The place is dog friendly and right on the water. I would suggest any one to stay here, would be great...

We first started staying at Rock Island ten years ago. We fell in love with it, and have gone back a couple times every year since. We have stayed in both of the cabins, and the yurt. For a family, we suggest the cabins, unless you have just one young child. The cabins have a small bed that a younger...

We stayed here in June 2014. It was everything we hoped for, and more. Quiet, peaceful and totally charming. The cottages have everything you would need to be self sufficient. If you don't want to go hiking or go to town, you can just stay there and go canoeing, swimming or just hang out, read or take a pottery lesson,...
